The speculation followed a birthday exchange on February 5, 2026 when Funke sent congratulations and Fathia replied with the Yoruba phrase “Ose Iya Ibeji.”
Fathia addressed the matter in a live video, saying there is no bad blood between them and accused bloggers of twisting the interaction to create drama.
She insisted Funke’s message was genuine and that her own reply was friendly.. “I am not at war with Funke Akindele. There is no bad blood between us.”
