In the suit shared on his Instagram page, he noted how Stanley has been defaming his reputation unprovoked for over 3 years.
Captioning the post, he wrote;
"MR. STANLEY CHIBUEZE AJEMBA A.KA. STANLEY ON TOP. YOU HAVE BEEN SERVED!
THE LAW WILL TAKE ITS COURSE TO THE FULL EXTENT.
YOU FIRST, OTHERS WILL FOLLOW…
IF YOU CLAIM OR ALLEGE, YOU MUST PROVE WITH EVIDENCE, I’M COMING FOR YOU”.

Dear Sir,

PETITION AGAINST MR STANLEY CHIBUZE AJEMBA BETTER KNOWN AS STANLEY ON TOP FOR CONTINUOUS DEFAMATORY AND LIBELOUS STATEMENTS MADE AGAINST MRS. FREDRICK NNAEMEKA LEONARD.

We are solicitors and legal representatives of MR. FREDRICK NNAEMEKA LEONARD, (hereinafter referred to as “OUR CLIENT”) and on whose express instructions we write this petition.

Our client is a very popular actor/producer and a household name in the Nigerian movie industry popularly known as Nollywood.

Mr. Stanley Chibuze Ajemba, who is a self-styled, actors right activist, has persisted in the defamation of our client’s reputation unprovoked for over 3 years!

It is our brief that the said Mr. Stanley Chibuze Ajemba has made several statements against our client which are defamatory in nature and with the sole point of causing our client serious self-harming if left unchecked and unchallenged.
The said statements have been made on the basis of hearsay and have no factual or legal basis whatsoever. These statements have impugned our client’s character and the many libellous statements made against him at various times have no justifiable reasons whatsoever by the said Mr. Stanley Chibuze Ajemba.

These actions constitute a violation of our client's right not to be slandered or libelled as enshrined in the Criminal Code Act (applicable in Southern Nigeria) secs 373-381 which defines as well as provides punishments for any such defamations.

Section 39(1) of the 1999 constitution (as amended) grants onto the said Mr. Stanley Chibueze Ajemba power and freedom to express himself as he pleases but such freedom to express himself is limited by our client's rights to protection of his reputation as enshrined in Section 45(1) of the 1999 constitution (as amended)
Consequent on the above, we kindly request the Nigerian Police Force to intervene decisively by taking the following actions:
- Conduct an independent and thorough investigation into the allegations of libel and defamation of our client's character.

- Invite Mr. Stanley Chibueze Ajemba immediately for questioning regarding his actions/utterances in clear violation of our client's rights
- Get the said Mr. Stanley Chibueze Ajemba popularly known as Stanleyontop to within 7days to issue a written apology as well as retract and takedown all such previous defamatory/libelous publications targeting our client. In the event of non-compliance, we shall resort to every legal remedy available to our client.
