NOTORIOUS FOR JESUS

I Used to dream but that night was different. I had gone to bed after my devotion and had barely closed my eyes when I saw myself in a surgery theatre. The atmosphere was neutral and the whole place was color of gray except the ceiling that was yellow. 

I opened my eyes and I realised that I was lying down on the surgery table with a tall man by my side, wearing a white overall whom I presumed was the doctor and I was not wrong. He was representing the King of Glory and I knew because I felt it with aggressive assurance. He looked powerful, warm and ready.

He stretched out his hands, helped me sIt up before reaching for my left eyes. From there He brought out an opaque object colored in crystal white, bearing the appearance to something that had just emerged from icy water. 

On a second glance, it was a contact lens. I became confused because in reality, I have never worn a contact lens. 

He showed me and uttered, "This is cataract and you have been operated upon to remove it" before tossing the object into a bowl standing on the surgical silver crest. "Thank you Dr." I replied, my heart overwhelmed with joy because I can suddenly see clearly. 

Still in that euphoria of thanksgiving and rejoicing I woke up.

 I was the favorite grandchild of my Grandmother and she lost her sight to Cataract. I believe in patterns, and believe that there is genetics, but what was more real that day, was the power of God that intercepted and destroyed the yoke of generational curses that had been transferred.

WOW...so you woke up and the cataract was gone? or yours had not yet developed but was healed? please complete this testimony and what happened thereafter...thank you

INSIDE THE MIND OF A WOMAN GOING THROUGH MOTHERHOOD

I have been taking an hour long walk four to five times a week, and it has been amazing. One hour alone without the kids, just me and my thoughts and all. It was supposed to be a jogging session, but the maximum time I have been able to spend jogging without fainting has been fifteen minutes.

The first time I tried jogging in recent times, I was out of breath in two minutes. I spent the whole hour with my mouth open, panting, and struggling for air.
I plan to keep trying to jog more and more to build my endurance level because I miss running. I would like to be fit enough to run again and probably participate in a half marathon race. 

Lagos marathon race is taking place this February 14th, but I am in no way near being fit enough to participate. I hope by this time next year I will be fit enough to run the marathon.
If I cant run the marathon, I just want to be fit enough to run because I miss the feeling of exhilaration I that I used to feel when I ran as a child and young adult, the excitement of pushing myself to run as fast I could, the familiar one sided belly ache which was my body’s way of telling me I had reached my limit, the feeling of my feet hitting the floor, the wind against my face and all.
I really miss all this and I would like to be fit again just to enjoy running. I pray my knees can take it, though, and they don’t give up on me.

Pregnancies may have taken its toll on your knees, please find out how healthy your knees are before you start running and damage them further oh......

Also know that the older you get, some sports are no longer for you...Instead of running, walk, walk walk.......Someone go to the gym and die there or at home cos they lifted things that broke a vein or two......Things that they had been lifting since oh.....

Calling Yourself a Single Mother does not Cancel the Father’s Rights

This one always triggers arguments, but the law is not emotional.
Calling yourself a single mother describes your situation, not the child’s legal reality.
Yes, you may be raising the child alone.
Yes, the father may be absent.
Yes, you may be doing all the work.
But in law, biology does not disappear because the relationship ended.
Unless a court says otherwise, a child still has a mother and a father
Even if the parents are no longer together.
Even if the relationship ended badly.
Even if communication has broken down.
Emotional distance does not automatically remove legal standing.
This is where many people get it wrong. You cannot, by declaration or anger erase a father’s rights
- deny access permanently
- decide unilaterally that he no longer matters
The law’s focus is not who hurt who. It is the welfare of the child. That means the law asks questions like:
- Is the father a danger to the child?
- Is access harmful?
- Is there a court order restricting involvement?
If the answer is no, then rights still exist whether you like it or not.
Being a single mother is not a punishment system.
It is not a licence to rewrite biology and it is not a court judgment. Only a court can: limit parental rights, remove access ,and make binding custody decisions
Until that happens, both parents legally exist in the child’s life.

This is not about siding with men or women. It is about understanding that children are not trophies of failed relationships. The law protects children by recognising both parents, not by validating adult anger.
Calling yourself a single mother may reflect your struggle and that struggle is real. But it does not cancel the father’s rights in law and pretending otherwise only creates bigger legal problems later.
