    Jesus told the disciples just before he left this earth to return to Heaven: 'I will send you what my Father has promised, but you must stay in Jerusalem until you have received that power from Heaven' (Luke 24:49 NCV). As a redeemed child of God, the Holy Spirit lives in you (see Romans 8:9). But this promise indicates that you can also have the Holy Spirit resting upon you and empowering you. How did the disciples respond to this promise? 'They all met together and were constantly united in prayer' (Acts 1:14 NLT).

    Author Larry Sparks says, 'For too long, the Western church has tolerated a prayer culture defined by lack of results.' Then he gives us this strategy for a divine visitation: 'Review God's promises for a Holy Spirit outpouring. Become possessed by them. And "tarry" in devoted, sustained, persevering prayer until revival promises become revival realities. That's exactly what the disciples did.'

    We make the mistake of assuming that outpourings of the Holy Spirit are sovereignly fixed dates in Heaven's calendar. One of God's great promises to us is: '"In the last days...I will pour out my Spirit upon all people"' (Acts 2:17 NLT). As long as 'all people' have not experienced this outpouring of God's Spirit, we must continue to pray, 'Oh, that you would burst from the heavens and come down!' You say, 'What can I do?' Do what the disciples did: 'They all met together and were constantly united in prayer' (Acts 1:14 NLT).' Begin to pray each day for a divine visitation of God's Spirit.

    Good morning my beautiful sisters,please I need an urgent advise.. My sister developed an abdominal pain 4 days ago,so when she went to the hospital she was diagnosed with a large fibroid and she was given some medication yet she didn't get better,she is in serious pains she can't walk well sit well,stand well.. please any suggestions on what to do.. her appointment is on thursday.Thursday.. please who has gone through this phase? I need tips on how she can manage the pains till Thursday

      She should use analgesic, take a lot of water, and if the pain still persist, please let her go back to the hospital, she doesn't have to wait till the appointment day, warm hugsss to her.

      Let her go back to the hospital and not wait until that Thursday, I would've suggested the drugs prescribed to me during my own, but Stella will not post it, even if she does, no pharmacy will sell them to you because they're strictly on doctor's prescription.

      The same thing happened to me. The pain was so unbearable, I couldn’t stand or walk. I was rushed to the hospital, where they gave me an analgesic and ulcer medication before it calmed down. I was sent for a CT scan, and the scan showed a large mass attached to my left ovary. I was then booked for surgery, but during the operation the doctor discovered it was actually a fibroid attached to my uterus that was protruding toward the ovary. Thank God the surgery was successful. My advice is that you should take your sister to the hospital so she can receive a proper examination and treatment.
