Nigeria Senate Sets Up 12 Member Team To Fix Electoral Act Row After Nationwide Backlash
The Nigerian Senate has set up a 12‑member conference committee, announced by Senate President Godswill Akpabio and chaired by Senator Simon Lalong, to harmonise its Electoral Act Amendment Bill with the House of Representatives after nationwide backlash, especially over provisions on electronic transmission of results.
