Oyo State Gov Makinde Calls FCT Minister Wike A 'Vagabond' Expelled From PDP.

Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde recently responded to comments made by FCT Minister Nyesom Wike about getting involved in the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) affairs in Oyo State.



During a recent PDP event in Ibadan where the new state party secretariat was commissioned, Governor Makinde addressed Wike's earlier statement declaring interest in Oyo PDP matters.

He described Wike as a "vagabond" who only became prominent in politics around 2015 and was expelled from the PDP in 2025.
He questioned why Wike, after his time leading the PDP in Rivers State, now wants to influence activities n Oyo.
