While speaking at Jay on Air podcast, he noted that he was too focused on his career and financial success, thereby neglecting relationships with his dates when he was younger.
In his words;
"Honestly, one of my biggest regrets is not setting down or like not picking a wife early enough
Had I picked one of my young loves, maybe by now, I must have had maybe a 14-year-old kid
I feel like you get a better dating experience from a Nigerian girl living abroad than from a Nigerian girl living here
And the thing about finding true love is that you can't even be guarded 1%, like you have to be able to loose your guard and just say if I die, I die
I've been acting for 15 years consistently, I've never had an off time, I never had a time that I fell off, never had a time that I wasn't relevant
I also believe that I open up the leading male young actors category
I genuinely believe that if you put everything that I have done, everything that I have been able to accomplish, I believe that am the biggest actor in Africa".

I sometimes admire overconfident people, it's good to have a positive look about oneself, sometimes it doesn't come from a place of pride cuz I am sure that timini know that there are other great actors in Africa. I would prefer an over confident person anytime to a pessimistic person( those ones drain energy out of someone).

It's good to hype yourself but it's embarrassing when the truth is obvious. Timini is a good actor but not the best. Several other young actors are way better than him and damn too good at acting. They don't make noise about it. Their works speak loudly for them without them bragging.

Timini's acting is just average. He's not the best in Nigeria, not to talk of Africa. In Nigeria alone, plenty young male actors wey sabi act well well more than him full ground. I mean top notch acting. You can do better. Work on your craft more and you will get there.
