    Jonathan said to his armor bearer, "come on now, let's go across to these uncircumcised pagans. Maybe GOD will work for us. There's no rule that says GOD can only deliver by using a big army. No one can stop GOD from saving when he sets his mind to it. 1 Samuel 14:6

    Israel's entire army had only two spears. How can they defend a nation with just two spears?

    The Philistines had 30,000 chariots, 6,000 horsemen and foot soldiers that were so many they looked like the sand on the seashore. Israel had only 3,000 soldiers. Most of them ran away when they saw the massive strength of the enemy.

    All the Generals of the army knew that the timing was not right. They needed more ammunition. They needed more people. They needed more intelligence against the enemy. They needed to have a prophetic declaration from Prophet Samuel or the Priest. They waited.

    While the professionals waited for the right time. Jonathan took one bodyguard and dared to confront an army of over 50,000 men.

    The atmosphere was tense. The odds were against him. Prophet Samuel just the day before had pronounced doom on his father – King Saul.

    He did not have the expertise, the experience, the equipment required, the blessing of his father or the prophet. But…

    He decided to GO FOR IT!

    In less than 30 minutes, Jonathan had killed 20 enemy soldiers, then Heaven entered the situation

    There was a great shaking.

    Until we move, Heaven is unable to move on our behalf! Two men with one spear won an entire army with chariots and horses!

    There is no rule that says we won’t succeed if we don’t have the experience, the qualification, the people or the timing.

    What matters most is trusting God.
