 Troops of the Joint Task Force (JTF) Operation Enduring Peace (OPEP), on Thursday, said they have killed three suspected bandits and arrested two fake security operatives in separate operations in Plateau State. In a statement in Jos, the spokesperson of the operation, Captain Polycarb Oteh, said the suspected bandits were killed around Karem, a community of Wase LGA, while the suspected fake security operatives were arrested around Dutse Uku area of Jos North LGA of the state.u

 Benue and Bauchi state governments have evacuated 664 students of the University of Jos in Plateau State who are indigenes of the two states. The evacuation followed the attack by terrorists on residents of the Angwan Rukuba community on Palm Sunday, which left over 24 persons dead.
