ReplyDeleteSo we decided to stop using any type of tomato paste in our home (whether sachet, tinned, bottled or dried). This is because we want to eat healthier.
Now the problem is that after making my stew with only tomatoes, bawa, onions, and other peppers; it quickly gets finished because I don't add water or meat stock to it again. I noticed that when I add water or meat stock, my stew becomes too runny and loose. It doesn't come out good.
Please what natural things can I add to my stew to thicken it, so as to enable me put in some water into the stew and increase the quantity. At least so that the stew will not be finishing so fast. We want to eat healthy, but we also want to save money. The amount I used to cook 3days stew before now cooks only 1 day stew.🙆

DeleteYour vegetables for tomato stew is fine by me. Maybe you should increase the tomatoes you buy, add more onions & tatashe. I don't add any thickener, I add ginger & little garlic to mine for good taste.
Then to solve the watery stew issue, make sure you boil grinded paste to dry out water before frying your stew. Pls fry stew well, it will taste better & last longer. All the best dear 😊
Only solution, buy x3 of the tomatoes you use to buy.

DeletePar boil the grinder pepper to be devour of water before using it to make stew, after which you can add your meat stock. Stew made with added tomato paste and stew made with only tomato and pepper cannot be the same but eating healthy is good, so manage it like that. God will provide the funds for it.
Deleteget more quantity of tomatoes, add shamboo, plenty of onions, ginger, garlic. Use a blender to blend your tomatoes than using the general grinding machine to grind your tomatoes. This will make your tomatoe paste thick, do not add any thickener into your stew.
DeleteAllow it cook on low heat for some time after adding the meat stock. Stew without meat stock will be too thick na.

DeleteI usually do not add any tomatoes paste to my stew and it comes out perfectly well and so sweet.
DeleteJust buy plenty tomatoes, those very strong ones that is currently in the market now, tatashe, plenty of onions, regular pepper, maybe ginger and garlic if you wish.
Fry in a very hot oil . Then cook to dry up water and you'll see just oil at the top.
Alternative, you can put your blender mixed on your rice filter to drain the water for 10 -15 mins

DeleteBuy small quantity of tomatoes and rodo(depending on how you love spicy soups, let Tatashe (red bell pepper) be more than tomatoes, in fact, let Tatashe be more than the remaining two in quantity.. Add onions and other spices as you wish. Then boil it after blending and let the water dry up before using it to make stew.
I assure you, you will keep adding water till it finishes.
Tatashe makes stew thick.
Will adding beetroot not help to thicken stew? Though I'm not sure.

Most mothers forcefully do it to their kids,enter the desert with them.and come to Italy back then;then claim their village people did it to their child and they are scared to go back home(Nigeria);so that way they get the documents.

Who knows the name of this movie please. Belinda effah was a younger sister to Chika ike but both didn't grow up together they grew up in different places and didn't know each other.
