He accused some party leaders of coercing members to back a preferred aspirant and said his loyalists were blocked from participating in the primaries across several zones.
In a viral video, Elliot said: "This is my ward; if you go outside, those are my people. They have not been allowed. I am officially announcing my withdrawal from this race.”
