Noooo SDK, this one is called Caribbean belt. I used it very well back then. It is used around the waist or hip, can be used on skirts gowns or trousers. Mostly used on fitted clothes as accessory.

This was more of a fancy belt. The abortion belt is black and stretchy
ReplyDeleteI remember having two different types of this belt. It has a hook on one end which you use to hook any hole that fits your waist size on the other end. I have forgotten the name but it is not abortion belt. Abortion belt is worn on the stomach, this one is usually on the waist.
ReplyDeleteAfter watching that Spanish soap back then (Second Chance), the lead actress Isabel was always using this belt on different Caribbean skirts, I fell in love with it and felt like a big girl wearing it.
I think it is in vogue again.
I disposed mine back then after it stopped reigning. Wish I had kept them.
