Which brands of pads are the cheapest and most reliable to buy in Nigeria? Most people who have Myoms and bleed a lot in Nigeria, which pad is best for them? I cringe when i hear some say they use baby diaper.......
Mention brands and price and where to get of reliable Nigerian pads and hygiene products for women in Naija.......
Remember that different states for different folks.
Let's gist!

Stella, if it's up to me, sanitary pads should be free for young girls and women who can't afford them.
ReplyDeleteI can't remember how many packs I have gifted out to schools even I was really had enough to spare. I sometimes give to the church too for young girls who cannot afford to buy 💰
Always brand is good. That's what I started with & later switched to Lady care when Always became costly. I later switched to Molphed as it absorbs more. I don't have heavy flow though.
ReplyDeletePrices depends on brands and heavy or light flow 🩸
I like the Softcare mini pack (3 in 1)that I can carry around & it goes for #300.
Softcare pad is 3 in a pack which is sold for 250naira, then Besense is also 3 in a pack and also sold for 250naira..I have few of my friends that uses pampers because of heavy flow and they say it's very comfortable and ok to use..
ReplyDeleteIt should be free especially to school kids..and I don't get what they're saying concerning the 25k pad...
ReplyDeleteI've always loved always but it's expensive now..but not to the price of 25k though..at least some like lady pad it's still affordable
Dry Love is good and absorbs well. The price is 3k for a big pack of 15 abi 18 different sizes of pads inside with panty liners too.
ReplyDeleteAlways pad is a no no for me. I itch whenever I use it. Molped is the best, uae it when my flow is heavy, and busense when my flow is light. They need to not only do something about making it affordable, but most pads don't stick again.
ReplyDeleteAlways gave me rashes ehn! I think all pads sef. Reason I switched to tampons and never looked back!
DeleteI stopped using always years ago. Gave me mad rashes too.
DeleteI use dry love now and one other I can't remember the name and it's ok.
Really? That's sad, sorry dear.
DeleteI use Molphed too.
Eka, I don't think I can use tampons o.
DeleteJusty, the itch I got was bad. Molped does it for me.
Adunni, yes o. Molped is comfy
In the past Always, now I use Molped (3 in 1-#1800) or nappies( wash and air under the Sun).
ReplyDeleteMy flow is normal.
Always was good initially but few years ago I started reacting to it, the itching and rashes was too much, now I use molped and software and they are very nice and absorbes well.
ReplyDeleteAya pads are great. They come in two colors....yellow and pink. The yellow has 7 pieces while the pink has 10.
ReplyDeleteOne thing I love about the pads, very long.
I feel so comfortable and relaxed with it, no itching, nothing and it's the best I've used.
Let me note this. Hope it's affordable?
DeleteDry love is fantastic.
ReplyDeleteIf the cost and availability of sanitary pads is causing girls to miss school then that is a problem. These are the conversations that local government representatives should be having with school officials and mothers.
ReplyDeleteThere is a great Bollywood movie called Padman on Netflix. It’s based off a true story and worth a watch.
I use baby diapers especially for days 2 and 3 when the flow is crazy. Normal pads can't hold anything any longer. They now serve as panty liners cos they are damn too flat. When I use the diapers, I still support them with thick cotton napkin after the undies before the 'tight'.
ReplyDeleteSo, baby diapers can go around your body, or you cutting them?
DeleteIt doesn't have to go around your body. Just place it like your normal pad and use very strong undies to keep it in place. Kapish.
DeleteStella don't cringe o, diaper is recommended for those with heavy flow. I read a comment about it first from martins.
ReplyDeleteYes, those incontinence adult diapers can be used for those with heavy flow, as they are built to prevent side leaks. Many pads cannot prevent side leaks especially while sleeping.
DeletePlease BVs oh, if an adult want to use baby diapers for heavy period, what is the recommended size?
ReplyDeleteI use size 4.
DeleteNa cotton I dey use.
ReplyDelete350 dey carry me I don't have heavy flow so is ok for me.
I use Molped
ReplyDeleteUse reusable
ReplyDeleteI use ladycare
