He says he is going back because the law allows it, and that there is no tenure limit for serving in the National Assembly, whether in the Senate or the House of Representatives. He adds that once his people believe he still has much to offer, he has a duty and responsibility to represent them effectively.
He also points out that Nigerians often focus more on who becomes president than on who becomes their lawmakers at both state and federal levels, even though legislative representation is extremely important.
He says that a strong and independent Senate is essential for good governance. He stresses that when the Senate is vibrant, respects its integrity, and maintains its independence, the country benefits from better governance.

Senator Sani is a good man and deserves to be in the Senate.
ReplyDeleteHis stay was shortlived because the former governor saw him as a threat so he used to position but thank God he's out of the way now.
