The document shared by Mr carter has the logo of Babcock Univer sity, the school says that the document did not come come from them.

In an official public notice dated June 29, 2026, the university made it clear that a so called “Honorary Certificate” claiming to award “First Class Upper” to Oderohwo Joseph Efe (known as Carter Efe) is not real. The document was supposedly issued by something called the “Babcock University Biochemistry Computer Club,” but the school says no such thing exists.
Babcock explained two important points. First, they do not give out honorary certificates for undergraduate studies. Second, there is no degree classification called “First Class Upper” at their university. Academic excellence is only shown through official degree certificates and transcripts from the Registrar’s office.
The university advised the public, employers, and other institutions to ignore any such fake papers.
They warned that anyone caught producing or using forged Babcock documents could face legal trouble, including court cases for fraud and forgery. The school said it will take all necessary steps to protect its name and reputation.
This issue started after Carter Efe shared the certificate online as part of content or jokes about education.

Instead of correcting them and pointing them towards reasonable role models.
Hopefully they go through with their threats.
