In a trending video, Kumuyi addressed growing speculation about which of his sons might take over the church. He made it clear that the ministry belongs to Jesus Christ alone, not to any individual or family line, and therefore cannot be inherited like a personal estate.
Quoting scripture, he explained that biblical leaders did not pass church authority to their children, and he has no intention of handing Deeper Life to any of his sons. According to him, only the will of God will determine the next leader of the ministry.
Hei emphasized that the church must remain rooted in divine direction, not human succession plans.
