Blessing CEO is facing prosecution over allegations bordering on obtaining money by false pretence, fraudulent dealings, and the unlawful conversion of funds. She was arraigned before the court by the EFCC following a petition accusing her of defrauding a Lagos businessman of N36 million.
During Friday’s proceedings, her legal team moved a bail application, urging the court to grant her release pending the determination of the case but the prosecution opposed the request, arguing that granting bail could interfere with ongoing investigations.
After listening to both sides, the presiding judge Justice Dipeolu subsequently adjourned the matter until June 9, 2026 for ruling on bail application and June 22, 2026, for continuation of trial.
Blessing CEO remains in custody as the trial continues.
