Singer Ruger’s Record Label Reveals Reason Behind Singer’s Hiatus

Nigerian singer Ruger has been off the music scene for months, and his record label has finally revealed the reason behind his silence.

In a statement released on Thursday, the label disclosed that the Bounce crooner has been dealing with a legal battle involving an ex‑girlfriend, which has affected his ability to release new music.
According to the statement, the ex‑girlfriend filed a lawsuit against the singer, accusing him of “emotional distress” and “damages.”
“Ruger was caught up in a series of personal challenges after someone he dated decided to sue him for alleged emotional distress and damages,” the label said.
The statement added that Ruger is expected to make a major comeback in August, with new music and projects already in the works.
Fans have since flooded social media with messages of support, expressing excitement over his upcoming return.

  1. This is one of the reasons why celebrities overseas make them sign NDA's. Leave our Ruger alone Babe.

  2. This is why some record labels don't allow their signees to have serious relationship, they are given permission to knack and move on. Some even arrange girls for their male signees.
This is one of the disadvantages.
Some signees will suffer heartbreak and they won't be able to function properly for months.
