WEIRD FACTS
-----Don't trade your authenticity for approval.

----A single conversation with a wise person is better than ten years of study.

----Ironically, we tend to want what we can't have. Then once we get it, we don't want it anymore.

----Anhedonia is the word for that feeling when you cannot find joy in the things that usually bring you joy.

----In Sweden, it is legal to be a prostitute, but it is illegal to be a customer of a prostitute.

Natural smell? Including those people with body odour that is similar to goat smell? They will arrive and you will asking who bought goat? Abeg oh!!!

GRANDMAS 10 PIECES OF ADVICE ON FRIENDSHIP; RELATIONSHIP AND LIFE

My Grandma Gave Me 10 Pieces of Advice That Changed the Way I See Relationships, Friendship, and Life
Over the years, my grandmother shared many lessons with me, but there were ten pieces of wisdom that stayed with me and shaped how I view people and the world around me. I hope her advice speaks to you as much as it did to me.

1. Don’t Chase Princes
My grandmother used to say that real-life princes are rare, and many of them are in love with themselves. They often notice beauty before they notice character, kindness, or a good heart. Instead of chasing perfection, she told me to find someone grounded, educated, and respectful—someone who will truly value you.

2. Be Careful with Intense Charmers
She warned me about people who sweep others off their feet with passion and excitement. While they can be incredibly attractive, they often bring drama and heartache along with them. As Grandma put it, “A fire can warm you, but it can also burn down your house.”

3. Never Make Decisions in the Heat of the Moment
Whenever I was upset or overwhelmed, Grandma would say, “Slow down.” Listen to music. Take a walk. Have a good meal. Get some rest. Then make your decision. Clear minds make better choices than emotional ones.

4. Don’t Let Negative People Define You
There will always be people willing to criticize, judge, or discourage you. Grandma taught me not to carry their words around like luggage. Often, their negativity says more about them than it does about you.

5. Stay Out of Pointless Arguments
She advised me to avoid endless debates about politics, religion, or other topics where people are more interested in winning than understanding. Not every disagreement is worth your energy, and not every battle deserves your participation.

6. Don’t Fear Your Enemies
Surprisingly, Grandma said enemies are often easier to understand than false friends. An enemy may motivate you to grow stronger, while a dishonest friend can hurt you when you least expect it. Be cautious about who earns your trust.

7. Learn to Be Patient
“Time reveals what people hide,” she often said. Some answers can’t be rushed. Patience allows the truth to unfold on its own schedule.

8. Give People Three Chances
Grandma believed that everyone deserves room to make mistakes. She encouraged me to offer people up to three chances when appropriate. Not only does that give them an opportunity to grow, but it also gives you peace of mind, knowing you did your best. However, if someone repeatedly wastes those chances, it may be time to let them go.

9. Know Your Worth Without Looking Down on Others
Confidence is important, but arrogance is not. Grandma taught me to value myself while still remaining humble enough to admit when I was wrong and apologize when necessary.

10. Don’t Focus on Being Nice,Focus on Being Fair
One of her most memorable lessons was this: being “nice” all the time is not the same as being good. Kindness matters, but fairness matters too. Strive to be a person who sees situations clearly, treats people honestly, and stands by what is right—even when it isn’t easy.

ADVICE WOMEN SHOULD AVOID

Most of the dating advice you see online from both men and women is complete trash.
A lot of them are not teaching people how to build healthy relationships. They are teaching manipulation.
--How to keep a man on his toes.
--How to make him chase you.
--How to keep a man interested after sleeping with him.
--How to make him obsessed with you.
--How to make him fear losing you.
--How to act cold so he values you.
--How to make him jealous.
--How to make him spend money on you.
--How to keep him begging for your attention.
--How to make him miss you.
--How to stop him from losing interest.
--Every day it is one manipulation tactic after another.

If you as a woman keep listening to this kind of advice, you may end up manipulating a man into staying with you and we all know how that usually ends. Exhaustion, confusion, toxicity, resentment and sometimes even danger.
If you notice that a man is losing interest or he is not treating you the way you deserve to be treated, I honestly think the best thing you can do is make peace with it and move on with your life.
Stop trying to force connection.
Stop trying to decode mixed signals.
Stop trying to convince someone to value you.

You might even be endangering yourself by playing these silly emotional games with the wrong person.
Relationships are honestly not that complicated. Either someone likes you and shows it, or they do not like you and they show that too.
Do not let a man tell you twice that he does not want you.

  12. Today is the birthday of a friend who passed last year. Fcb sent notification of her birthday and I went to her page that has been inactive for months and as I read the happy bday messages pouring in from people who didn't know she's gone it dawned on me how many social media accounts are inactive because the owner is no more but we just assume everyone is doing life somehow at some place. It is well.

The man called Jonasi. What a man! Can't get over how my mouth was left open when I saw him and his daughters best friend getting it. That movie eh.
