Aloba spoke to reporters after a court session in Ikorodu, Lagos, on Tuesday. He noted that Mohbad died in September 2023, and his body was later exhumed for investigation. Almost three years later, the family still cannot bury him because of the unresolved DNA and paternity dispute.
He said:
“This DNA test is a must. I am saying this to the whole world for their assistance. This DNA is beyond ordinary paternity. We are tracing the death of Mohbad, because his death is not natural. As a father, I am still saying this: this DNA is the most important thing delaying Mohbad’s burial.”
The court adjourned the matter to August 11, 2026, to allow both sides agree on a certified laboratory. Lawyers said some labs previously suggested do not offer the required type of DNA testing.
At this point everybody should just move on and leave him and the corpse.

Let the DNA be done now! What is all this DNA story all the time.. wunmi should do the DNA at least to prove her innocence and for the sake of her husband and also to shut this man up

DeleteShe doesn’t need to do any DNA to prove anything to anyone. If Mohbad accepted the child and left property in the child’s name his choices should be respected and everyone should move on including his father.

DNA for what really? He is not the father of Mobad because which father will want a dead son without an offspring? Even if it was/is an adopted one. I remember a guy in our area an only son that died, his family were going to all his known and unknown girlfriends to see if any pne of them was by any chance pregnant for him. They were ready to accept a child just as ropo /replacement for their dead son. This man is fighting the one he sees. So.odd.
