SSANU Warns Federal And State Govts Over Unpaid Salaries After New Agreement
The Senior Staff Association of Nigerian Universities (SSANU) has issued a warning to both the federal and state governments, demanding the immediate release of funds following the implementation of the newly signed 2026 agreement.
The union says the government must urgently pay outstanding salary arrears and other negotiated incentives and cautions against any further delay or discrimination in extending the agreed benefits to its members, stressing that workers will not tolerate another round of withheld entitlements.
