He recalled once having to kiss an actress who had bad breath. He said the experience was uncomfortable and he had to wash his mouth afterwards.
The interviewer asked him: "You dey kiss for film? You don act with someone with mouth odor?"
Jide Awobona responded: "Yes, I don do am. I don kiss for film. For me kissing is beyond marriage... There are things to consider. Are you really healthy?...that's why me I no like kissing. If you even get one kind funny odor, I go japa oo. I no fit kiss you. I don act with somebody wey get mouth odor. As I go one place go wash my mouth, the person con see me. I just dey pray make person no go contact something because I don tire.

ReplyDeleteThe tests mean nothing. If someone got infected after taking the test then what. Most Hollywood folks have genital herpes, there is no test for herpes. Then a significant portion of the population also has oral herpes aka cold sores, I wouldn’t want to kiss someone who suffers from oral herpes whether or not they are in active outbreak, especially a colleague. They should use Ai or camera angles and ban open mouth kissing all together, unless the actors in the scene are married to each other.

ReplyDeleteIt’s not difficult.. they should run tests for every cast member like it’s done in saner countries especially if there are going to be acts of intimacy
ReplyDeleteTests don’t matter. If I take test at 3pm and I’m clean but go out partying that evening and have unprotected seck at midnight and pick up something the test that I did only few hours before will show that I’m clean, while that is not the present reality. Nobody should put 100% faith in any test results.
