Dear Father, thank you for teaching me to live above worry and anxiety. My heart is set on your Kingdom, and I manifest your righteousness everywhere. I refuse to be driven by the cares of this world, for I know you’ve already blessed me and granted me all that I require for life and godliness. Therefore, I walk in peace, purpose, joy and fulfilment, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Heavenly Father, we thank you for the gift of another blessed Friday morning.
Lord, this morning, we come before your throne of grace with hearts filled with sorrow, lifting up our dear sister, Bv Waju, and her entire family.
Father, we cannot begin to comprehend the depth of the pain in her heart after the heartbreaking loss of her precious daughter. The emptiness she feels is beyond words, and the tears she sheds are tears that only you can fully understand. Lord.
Your Word says, He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.(Psalm 147:3)
Father, heal her broken heart, comfort her and every member of her family in Jesus name 🙏
Father, may the beautiful memories of her daughter slowly become a source of comfort, even when they bring tears in Jesus name 🙏
Father, we stand in faith and pray that affliction shall never rise again in this family, in Jesus mighty name we pray. 🙏

JESUS IN YOUR CORNER

'The God of Israel will be your rear guard.' Isaiah 52:12 NIV


You might not know the name Angelo Dundee, but you've undoubtedly heard of world champion boxer Muhammed Ali. For more than two decades, Angelo was in Muhammed Ali's corner - literally. He was Ali's corner man! He also trained other world boxing champions. One of the great descriptions of Jesus is, 'He's our "corner man"!' 'If anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous' (1 John 2:1 NKJV).

In his letter to Timothy, Paul exhorts us to 'fight the good fight' (1 Timothy 6:12 NIV). And you're going to get knocked down a time or two. But you've got a corner man who once went three rounds with death itself. He got knocked down at the cross, but he got back up three days later. He walked out of the tomb, winning the fight against sin and death. Where is he now? He's at the right hand of the Father, interceding for you. In other words, Jesus is in your corner!

And he's not the only one. Jesus called the Holy Spirit the 'Paraclete', which translates in English as comforter and counsellor. Paraclete is a military term referring to Roman soldiers who would fight back-to-back when they got into hand-to-hand combat. They protected each other's blind side, and that's what the Holy Spirit does. The Holy Spirit has your back. And Jesus is in your corner. The prophet Isaiah calls him our rear guard: 'The Lord will go before you, the God of Israel will be your rear guard' (Isaiah 52:12 NIV). You have the Godhead interceding for you - the best 'corner men' you can get!

After watching the devastating event in Napal that Stella talked about yesterday, My mind went to rapture, the Almightyness of the Almighty God. How God can close the earth in a second🤔

That reminded humanity again how small and powerless we truly are.

No matter how advanced we become, there are forces far greater than us. We plan, we build, conquer, exploit and reshape the earth as if we own it. But every now and then, nature reminds us: we are only guests here.

Jesus is coming again. This earth is not the final destination. No matter what you think you are, there is a God in heaven who is more powerful. never take tomorrow for granted.
