The bible clearly states that "he who finds a wife, find a good thing".
The pastor said, the bible didn't support us marrying someone because we love them.

DeleteMcPinky is correct because the type pf love he explained is the foundation of marriage (without which no other reason for marriage can stand).
Maybe Pastor Tunde Ayeni is referring to the love , Eros which is associated with physical and sexual love ( butterflies 🦋 as McPinky said).
What type of love of love doesn't want to be honest or tell the beloved the truth. Don't you tell your friends the truth?
The type of LOVE that is the basis for marriage is God-centred, sacrificial, patient, kind, forgiving JUST like the love Jesus Christ has for the Church, his own body.
That's why marriage is likened to the union between Jesus Christ and believers/Christians just like Adam said of Eve, "flesh of my flesh, bone of my bones.'
