The same meeting also approved sending unclaimed dividends from the Capital Market Trust Fund and the Dormant Account Trust Fund to NELFUND. Only clear cash that is not tied up in court cases will be transferred.
Seized properties and money still under legal challenge are not included. Officials will now work out the legal steps to move the funds.
NELFUND gives interest free loans to Nigerian students in public tertiary institutions for tuition and living costs. The scheme already supports more than 1.2 million students.
The extra money is meant to help the fund keep up with rising demand and stay financially strong.

I hope skeptics will see this news and give kudos to whom it is due to! Everything is not about Akpu and Ogboni! Winning small... We'll done Mr President.
