NOTORIOUS FOR JESUS
I ran into one of my former church members at the market last week. We exchanged pleasantries because it had been a long time since we last saw each other. As usual, I asked about her family and children, especially her husband. She paused and told me that they were no longer together.
I was shocked and asked what had happened.
She reminded me of the situation she had years ago, the one my husband got involved in and helped them resolve. Of course, I remembered it clearly.
Her husband had caught her having affairs. He hacked into her Facebook account and discovered several conversations with different men.
One of the men was even threatening to send her nude pictures to her husband and was blackmailing her.
When her husband found out, he was furious and threatened to send her away. She ran to my husband, who was the assembly pastor at the time, for help. He invited both of them for counselling, and somehow, by God’s grace, her husband decided to forgive her and give the marriage another chance.
Not long after we were transferred from that assembly, she started attending another church. She became very committed and eventually brought her husband along with her. Then things took another unfortunate turn.
According to her, the prophetess in the new church became involved with her husband. Eventually, her husband went back to the issue of her past infidelity and used it as justification for his own actions. His attitude was essentially that since she had cheated before, he had no reason to feel guilty about cheating with the prophetess.
He eventually asked his wife to leave.
Long story short, the man is now married to the prophetess, while my former church member is left to pick up the pieces of her life.
Her ordeal left me speechless.

TEACHER LIFE
Summer school is here and believe me, you need to see the turnout.
Children are trooping into school like we are resuming first term.
And I'm looking at some of these parents like...
What happened?
You people only had them at home for a few weeks!
Then the stories begin.
“Miss C, this child wants to kill me oh!”
And I look at the mischievous-looking boy standing beside her, smiling innocently.
“Ma, my boy is harmless.”
Another parent:
“Miss, please keep her busy. She has too much energy.”
Another:
“Madam, anything you people are doing during summer school, let her do it. She doesn't want to stay at home again.”
Ah.
So this is how it is?
The same children parents proudly announced were going to enjoy a beautiful long holiday with them have returned to school.
And honestly, I understand the parents.
Children are wonderful.
But children are also a lot of work.
They need attention.
They want to talk.
They want snacks every 20 minutes.
They want to play when you want to rest.
They ask questions when you're busy.
And somehow, the moment you sit down, someone is shouting.
So yes, summer school has barely started and I'm already seeing parents dropping their children off with the expression of people who have just been rescued.
Meanwhile, the children?
Happy to see their friends.
Ready to play.
Ready to learn.
And completely unaware that their parents have been counting down the days to this reunion.
LOL @ Rescued.. na who no go the Journey no go understand..My Banbinos eh, I used to leave them in school until 5pm.....I told my hubby we should register them for after school, school and that's what we did...They have food there and the child can sleep there sef…….its not kindergarten oh, it was primary school....The Joy I feel when they go to school eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeh..lol

COOKING A FULL CRATE OF EGGS
I asked yesterday what you would do with a full crate of eggs for me and that aunty gwegwegwe waited until midnight to start dropping troll comments under annon...
I only buy the eggs that come 10 in a pack and I can make allas a sauce.....I slice onions, red pepper, yellow pepper, green pepper, tomatoes, mushrooms and small broccoli and I make it like moin moin in littlecup cakes....I mix all together and put small pepper,salt and little seasoning...I also sometimes use the big cke form and it comes out so great and I eat it like that with cappuccino by my side....
Note that I use all ten eggs from the crate....
I made it last Saturday for breakfast...try it and see......I learnt how to make it from a video I saw on TikTok....

There's a body odour pandemic in town and young boys are the major culprits. I went to pick up something from a game shop(where boys go to play video games) yesterday and I could literally see and hear the assorted odours.

ReplyDeleteWatched a story by a female police officer, that has me mes.sed up since yesterday.
It's about a 10 year old boy, molested for two whole years by a trusted "uncle" they sent him to, to learn a skill. (The uncle place is just Infront of their house. Same building. A lockup store in front of the building)
He sod..omized this boy daily for 2 whole years,and the parents didn't know. Boy even became used to it and willingly goes there. (What does a child of 10 even know?)
Until he went for a holiday trip to his village, and on getting there , he couldn't control his urges (obviously addicted) and started trying to repeat same thing to all his cousins and any male child around.
It became so worse that his grandma had to call the parents to update them.
Child couldn't confide in his parents, but the female officer, when he was taken to her, and she had a private discussion with him, just the two of them.
Long story short, the uncle has been remanded in prison.
But the boy, dam..aged for life.
It was even discovered his anxs too is dam..aged and will be requiring pampers. At just twelve years.
My heart has been going out to that boy, and I honestly feel really te..rrible.
Please parents, we know that times are hard and you need to make money to carter for the children, but of what use is your care if your child is this dama.ged or worse become of them.
As it is, he's already a threat to the male gender and who knows how many he will sod..omized in his lifetime?
Please look out, protect, pay attention, give time to your children.
Be their pastor, their friend, their confidant and the one they trust the most.
It will be better for you not to have a child, than have one who you are too busy to raise properly.
And to those that swing the other way, please sincerely, would you say God created him this way?
Also, why recruit innocent people and even grape many. Why not look for your kind? Why? π π also Why innocent children π π
I know it's not easy as parents. May God help everyone and fill in the gap. Amen
