Martins made the remark during a conversation with John Mikel Obi on The Obi One Podcast, while reacting to the ongoing crisis rocking the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), which has seen multiple resignations and internal reshuffling in recent weeks.
According to him, the problems within Nigerian football administration are not new and existed even during his playing days .. He says the system needs someone young, energetic, and connected to the realities of modern football.
He described Seyi Tinubu as “young and someone who understands what Nigerian people want.” He added that Seyi has the drive and capacity to bring fresh ideas and effect real change within the NFF.
