The jury deliberated for less than three hours before convicting the 63 year old, who is the only person ever charged in connection with the shooting. Prosecutors said Davis did not fire the shots but planned the attack and supplied the gun.
Tupac was riding with Marion “Suge” Knight near the Las Vegas Strip on September 7, 1996 when a white Cadillac pulled up and opened fire. Tupac, 25, was hit several times and died six days later. Suge Knight survived.
The shooting happened hours after Tupac and his entourage beat Davis’s nephew Orlando “Baby Lane” Anderson at the MGM Grand. Prosecutors said Davis, a former South Side Compton Crips leader, organized the retaliation.
The case remained unsolved for decades until Davis began publicly recounting the events in interviews, documentaries and his 2019 book. His lawyers claimed he exaggerated for attention, but the jury rejected that argument.
Davis faces a possible life sentence. The death penalty was not sought.

I rember when Niniola was so so happy on socail media, to have spoken to that their Oga in Prison ,via video call or can't remember the means back then.... I just shook my head and was worried for her, and hoped she wouldn't have any further association with him(music deal) because I felt she was so ignorant of how dangerous that man is, and the evil he committed against those in the music industry. I already heard about his connections to the 2 people's death you mentioned, noticed how most of those in record label left because they didn't get treated well or experienced what they didn't bargain for;; but I had no idea how extremely he was which led him to his prison Abode. Dj loon, Mase, etc ran except Mary J....
