ReplyDeleteI personally know a lady who married a JW. Issues arose and she needed blood. That's how the JW in-laws refused. Guess what? The father of the girl connived with the doctor to give her blood and put her in ICU with an instruction that no one could go in. That's how they transfused the lady and she survived. Such incidents abound. I blame whoever marries them ab initio. An ex colleague of mine even had it stated in writing and attached to his HMO form..... It is well. With this, there will be no need for subterfuge. However something tells me that covert pressure will be put on members by leaders to choose that conscience that will reject the options available.
