Rising fuel prices are triggering street protests across multiple countries, as governments struggle to contain public anger over soaring transportation and energy costs. According to CNN, demonstrations have erupted in several regions where fuel hikes have pushed households and businesses to breaking point.
From Africa to Europe and parts of Asia, citizens are blocking roads, marching on government buildings and demanding immediate relief. In some countries, transport unions have joined the protests, warning that higher fuel costs will lead to increased fares, food inflation and deeper economic hardship.
Governments say global supply pressures and geopolitical tensions are driving the surge, but protesters insist the hikes are unbearable and threaten their livelihoods. Analysts warn that if prices continue rising, more nations could face unrest in the coming weeks.

ReplyDeleteThanks to Donald J Trump, he will cause distress in the world and bankrupt his country. They bawling now, northern hemisphere hasn’t seen nothing yet, winter is coming in two months, they better pray thr El Niño gives a warm winter this season. Gas is what heats many homes and office buildings. Gas and diesel transports goods across the world. This mess will cause problems ppl didn’t even know could happen. Problems never encountered before. Rising prices will be the least of the problems.
ReplyDeleteChristians who are weak or backslidden better strengthen themselves. Cause the great deceiver is gearing up for his approach. He will come bringing false peace and miraculous solutions to all the problem of the world.
If you can afford to stockpile things like water, canned fish, rice, flour, sugar, oil, hygiene products, pasta, and other staples then do so. Those who are planting, continue to plant.
Stop this nonsense fear you put in people idiot
Delete16:27, if you do not want to prepare idiota that is your right. The folks who lived through the great depression would have appreciated some warning, hunger hit them in the blink of an eye.
DeleteObviously, the message above is not for you, take your mark in peace when it is time so you can live as you're used to living. For those who have no interest in anybody's mark they can be reminded to prepare, plant food, be self-reliant, buy land, and get out of the cities like their Creator told them to!
Torr,Nigerians go talk say na only us this rise in fuel and gas dey affect...
ReplyDeleteI take public transit so I don’t feel it in buying gas but I feel it with food costs. I’m choosing to repair things instead of throwing them out and buying a new one, especially if the quality is good. I don’t trust the quality of things being made these days.
DeleteThis is serious
ReplyDeleteCost of transportation is really high now and it is affecting every aspect of our lives. God please 🙏🏽
ReplyDeleteAmerica would not stop until they bring us into depression. I think it is too late to reverse it. Imagine leaving your country that has lot of refinery than any country in the world, have your own petrol but still want to control the resources of other countries. That's America for you, reasons they are rich because they exploit other countries. But I think they will have it tough this time around.
ReplyDeleteWhat is the current cost of transportation in your area in Lagos. Please share.
