Men really need to get over "the shock" and know how to deal with their "shock" when a woman leaves them. They are not the only ones entitled to happiness, women are also entitled to happiness.

He got those crazy eyes and he doesn't look like he has a strong IQ. I really wish this young woman's life was not taken like that. I really wish she was able to live out her full life. I wish when he had approached her she lied and said she was already married. My heart breaks for her parents who brought their child into the world, nourished her to adulthood, now having to bury her due to the wickedness of someone else. May God comfort her mother.

Again, this is a reminder that leaving a violent relationship is the most dangerous time for an abused woman. You must have a good exit plan, one that keeps you alive for the rest of your natural life. The best exit plan is to go to another city, state, or country silently. This is one of the reasons we say wait at lest two years before making a child in a marriage unless age is not on your side. When you escape tell no one where you are living unless it is absolutely necessary for them to know, because some ppl will not agree with you leaving and will want to play hero trying to get you back together, they will tell the perpetrator where to find you. Others are just unable to keep their mouth shut if they are prompted repeatedly. Even faking your death could be a survival strategy if you can pull it off. Always change your hairstyle immediately, change your clothes and style of dressing, start wearing hijab if you can handle it. Make sure your physical phone and sim card are changed, yes this is costly but many phones have trackers on them unbeknownst to the user. Abusers find every way to control their victims and knowing where they are at all times is one of those strategies. Matter of fact, organize a new phone before you even leave, so you can throw the old one in a river.

I pray for all women seeking escape from abuse, may wisdom show you what to do in the best way. May you and your children live to give a testimony. If you do not see any way out that will lead to survival. Then pray to God to physically injure the abuser in such a way that they can never abuse you again. Pray for divine justice to intercede for you, pray without ceasing. God will help you.
