2027: Tompolo Takes PBAT Door-To-Door Movement To Nasarawa, Calls For Consolidation Of Tinubu’s Reforms

The PBAT Door-to-Door Movement has commenced grassroots mobilisation in Nasarawa State for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, with its founder, High Chief Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo, popularly known as Tompolo, calling for the consolidation of the administration’s economic reforms.

Represented at the launch in Lafia by the Managing Director of Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited, High Chief Kestin Pondi, Tompolo acknowledged the challenges associated with the reforms but said continuity was necessary for their long-term objectives to be fully realised.
“These reforms need consolidation. Four years are not enough. The benefits of these reforms have not been fully experienced,” he said.

Tompolo pointed to ongoing road construction, increased resources available to state governments, the absence of petrol queues and growing investment activity as developments he associated with the administration’s policies.
He also highlighted proposed investments in Nasarawa State, including a 6,000-metric-tonne lithium processing plant, housing projects and other industrialisation initiatives.
Nasarawa State Governor Abdullahi Sule commended the movement for its support, saying the state had benefited from the Federal Government’s reforms. He said Nasarawa had cleared outstanding gratuities and executed more than ₦100 billion worth of capital projects without borrowing from commercial banks.

National Coordinator of the movement, Sunday Asuku, said Tompolo had mandated the organisation to take its mobilisation across local government areas, wards and polling units ahead of the 2027 general election.

The launch also featured the inauguration of coordinators across the state and the presentation of vehicles to strengthen the movement’s grassroots mobilisation.
