Eye witnesses said she was snoring, gasping, kicking her feet, and at one point appeared conscious even after both syringes had been administered. Her legal team filed an emergency motion mid‑procedure, confirming she was still alive more than an hour after the drug was injected.
She was rushed to a hospital where she remains in critical condition. Tennessee’s governor has suspended all executions and ordered a full investigation into how the procedure went catastrophically wrong.
I think they should have granted her plea for death by hanging, but i doubt if she would survive this.
