Man Nabbed Trying To Scam POS Operator With Old Tyres Wrapped As New

A man was caught trying to trick a POS operator out of cash by packaging old, damaged car tyres in nylon to make them look brand new.


He showed up at the POS stand pretending he wanted to withdraw money. When he claimed the transfer failed, he asked the operator to hold onto the “new” tyres and hand him cash instead, saying he was in a hurry. 
Neighbours nearby noticed something was off during the negotiations and caught him.
