In November 2025, Rollas publicly commented on Regina Daniels and Senator Ned Nwoko's marital crisis, claiming that Daniels needed help and criticizing her mother, Rita Daniels for contesting for AGN president when her daughter needed her more.
He also criticised some industry members for being quiet about the situation.
Rollas stated that he reflected on his previous stance, realized he was in the wrong, and decided to issue an apology.
He noted that several individuals had attempted to broker peace between him and Rita Daniels and he is offering the apology regardless of whether the affected parties choose to accept it or not.
He wrote:
"A PERSONAL APOLOGY & REFLECTION
Sometimes, with the passage of time, we look back at our actions and realise that being right about an issue does not necessarily mean we handled it the right way.
On 20th November, during a time of intense pressure surrounding the actors Guild of Nigeria and it's leadership, I made a public statement concerning Senator Prince Ned Nwoko, Regina Daniels, Mrs Rita Daniels, Members of the AGN Board of trustees, and some of my colleagues.
At the time, I believed strongly in the issues I raised, and had my reasons for speaking. But today, looking back, I must honestly admit: I regret the timing, the platform and the manner with which I handled it.
These were people I related with, worked with, and in some cases, considered friends.More importantly, I made those statements at a time when a family was going through a deeply personal and difficult period.I should not have taken that part.
A recent coincidental encounter with Mrs Rita Daniels where Sims people tried to make peace between us, gave me another opportunity to reflect.
So today, without excuses or conditions, I sincerely apologize:
To Mrs Rita Daniels and the Daniels family
To Senator Prince Ned Nwoko and his family
To Regina Daniels
To AGN Board of Trustees
And to Okey Bakassi,Charles Inojie, Chinyere Wilfred, Jide Kosoko, Sanni Danji, Ability, Nazareth,Jesse, My former aides, and every colleague whose name I mentioned
I am sorry.
Whether or not anyone chooses to accept my apology is entirely their decision. I am making it because, after looking back, I'm not proud of how I handled that Moment.
Leadership is not only about having the courage to speak,It is also about having the humility to acknowledge when we could have spoken differently, waited longer, or choose a different path.I may still hold my convictions about some of the issues I raised back then, but I take responsibility for my actions and my timing.
As I move forward, I choose peace, reconciliation, dignity, and respect.
I am human. I made a mistake. I have reflected. And today, I say sincerely: I'm sorry".
