NSCDC Suspends Officer Who Fired Shots During Clash With Traders In Abuja
The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has suspended Deputy Superintendent of Corps, Onoja Babayo Samuel, after he was arrested by the FCT Police Command for allegedly firing shots into the air during a confrontation with traders at Kubwa Market, Abuja.
According to police reports, the officer fired warning shots during an argument with traders, causing panic and forcing people to scamper for safety. His conduct was immediately condemned as reckless and dangerous. The NSCDC confirmed his suspension, stating that the behaviour violated the Corps’ professional standards. The FCT Police Command says the officer will face charges for public disturbance and unlawful use of a firearm. An internal investigation has begun to determine further disciplinary actions.

It's indeed very reckless and dangerous. I hope others will be cautious and refrain from misbehaving because they possess arms.
