Governor Fashola You Got It Wrong -This Is Why Nigeria Is Not Respected! - By Fola Ojo

                                 STRAIGHT UP FOLASOPHICAL!!!

Governor Tunde fashola  expressed his frustration at the attitude of the South African government towards Nigeria when he submitted that we(Nigeria)  “deserved respect” for the leading role we played in ending the apartheid regime in South Africa. The Governor is an astute man of wisdom and an erudite legal bigwig who many, including myself, have come to respect and love for the good works he has done in Lagos State over the last 6 years or so. But the Governor got it wrong here.
The word “Respect” is defined as a feeling of deep admiration for someone or something elicited by their abilities, qualities, or achievements. It is also known as regard, esteem, reverence, deference and honour.

President Jonathan Congratulations....You Have Just Been RE-ELECTED!

I never liked the APC idea, and now with the 7 rebel governors jumping in, I hate it the more.  APC is a bow to Al Qaeda pressure, it is a bow to the bows and Arrows of Boko Haram, APC is a negotiation with terrorists, and APC is “we are sorry we are Christians”. I loved the ACN arrangement.  ACN was a tall stand for the people.

May Your Life Be Productive - By Dr Fola Ojo

When your life is productive and full of enviable results that all eyes can see, you become a celebrity of sort. Those who never liked you have to pretend to admire you; those who had wished you fail now have to ask you for success strategies, those who had refused to bow now roll before you in adoration and reverence.

WHO SAID OUR LEADERS ARE CORRUPT? ...Part 1

                                                                  Fola Ojo

Chief Ladoke Akintola was one-time premier of the then Western Region of Nigeria. Smooth-talking, loquacious master of jabberwocky, Chief Akintola was severally accused by his many opponents of crass corruption.  His sarcastic response sickened many both in his party and outside. The line is memorable.  “I didn’t eat the money, I spent it, whose grandfather can swallow a penny?” he had said.  The premier, in a manner of a stand-up comedian, trivialized the behemoth called corruption, and today, the monstrous Godzilla is still very much around sinking Nigeria deep into thralldom and towering tribulations.  Friends, this is the fungus among us.

The Crashed Associated Airlines Plane And My Experience By Fola OJO.

A MUST READ!

It was in February, 2012. A Revival in Port-Harcourt and a quick visit to two friends of mine in Abuja surged me to journey home. In twenty-four years I had not seen Tony Akhiotu, now Managing Director, DAAR Communication. Nothing of course would be wrong to say hello to him as he was expecting me. The Adebayos too, (Wole & Anita) extended to me a warm invite to visit their place. The choice was no longer mine; I had to see my friends in the capital of Nigeria, that’s what friends are for. A table had been prepared before me in the presence of my friends.

Each time I travel to Nigeria, I just have to stay at least two nights in my place of birth. It’s a covenant of sort with Ibadan that I will not break. Everything seemed set in place for this, and I was looking forward to a refreshing time in Abuja. flying out of Ibadan was a deserving beat of the crazy Lagos traffic I would have run into if I were to fly out of MMA2, and driving down the treacherous death-trap called Ibadan-Lagos express way to catch a flight in Lagos was not what I looked forward to.
