So iyabo is no longer against Apc? Was the question that came to my mind when I saw the video.
ReplyDeleteSo what do you expect her to do when she met Seyi, she should ignore or insult him because she campaigned for Peter Obi during the last election.
DeleteIyabo just dey ignore Lizzy
DeleteWas she ever in labour party? She only voiced out the voters intimidation during the last election. It was an eyesore. 😔😔😔
ReplyDeleteShe campaigned for Elupee before the elections and that was okay with the mob, but when others campaigned for the other party, the mob insulted them and even cursed their family members.
DeleteHeadless mob truly.
This is so nice
ReplyDeleteGood for them.
ReplyDeleteI don't know why the have refused to settle Toyin because she was one of the strong supporters of President Tinubu & she suffered a whole lot for that. Anyways I like the two women in the video.
The Most Complex B
Only Eniola dey enjoy big time even chop political appointment join.
DeletePeople support candidates not to be settled but for the outcomes they want the candidate to address.
DeletePeople who are doing well in their careers would be highly resistant of any thing, say an appointment, that would distract from their progress.
Toyin went for a candidate that understood the financial potential of the creative industry and was honest about the financial challenges the nation faced. Unlike those who promised to remove subsidy then ate their words showing they had no idea what they were saying while campaigning, this man ENDED the subsidy on day 1, freeing up funds to pay back debts accumulated from the fake life we live as a country and financing welfare and legacy projects. He didn't sit on the money but passed it on to states and increased the salary of federal workers. He financed states enough to not just pay the current minimum wage but also pay pensions and debts that had crippled about 27 of the states so they couldn't even pay any salaries without borrowing from commercial banks- many could not even borrow against anything asides FAC. If your governor is sitting on the money, it's not the president's fault.
The same president is fighting for the right to pay LGA chairmen directly so that services and projects are aptly financed at the local level and government funding is more transparent when the person in charge is a drive away eg see what happened in Abuja with the primary school teachers who's funds had been released by the minister to area councils but the council chairmen refused to release the funds to teachers. Things like primary care services, school feeding, primary school funding, sanitation etc are done there. The case is currently in court and I hope the judiciary rules in the FG/LGAs favour to further limit the authoritarian tendencies of governors.
This same government has released over half of the civil service and other low income earners and millions of families from taxation with the new tax law which takes effect from January 1 for uniformity, freeing many homes to have more to spend and invest in their first home, small business children's education etc.
Is it the stable exchange rate and Forex availability achieved by stopping dollar subsidy, the single digit mortgage adjustment for federal civil servants, student loan for the most economically disadvantaged students, the funds now being made available for local drug manufacturing, the subsidised fees for those with long term illness like those on dialysis, the price of goods being reduced, the gradual improvements in security in NW and NC especially etc etc.
With all these, what appointment can be bigger than seeing your country getting better in the hands of someone with a good plan?
Boy eniola and toyin campaigned for tinubu but in reality, there are people for certain position or purpose.
DeleteBased on how you are or what you are capable of doing, we are all good at something.
Toyin might just be good at hyping and they giving her small small things here and there. While enola from the beginning knew what she wanted, a political position.
Excuse me sir/ma, May I know you please?
Delete13.19, with all these biography wey you write, the average Nigerian still suffers? Dey deceive yasef.
DeleteAnon 13:19 and 13:40 thank your intelligent comments.
DeleteGood one,
ReplyDeleteThe way this country is going...if you see opportunities even in your enemies camp ooo, port there and grab it ooo.
Good for them
ReplyDeleteThe Nigerians that Nigeria spent so much to educate need to show this input in their thinking, because reasoning may be too much of a hassle.
ReplyDeleteIf you cannot take a picture with people who you don't agree with on something, catch up with the lower animals so there is hope you may meet up as a human being.
Whoever you are you have ignited hope in me that education did not completely fail Nigerians, because how can you not know that siblings of the same mother can belong to different political alliances and still be siblings!.
DeleteToyin cannot be the link between both of them because, Iyabo has always plainly stated that Seyi is her friend even while she campaigned against his father.
Thank you! 12:50 I don't know how people reason. Like , she should have kept a straight face the moment she sees the people in the political party that she never supported?
DeleteSlim Shaddy, their shallow minds lead them in that unpleasant direction - once you don't support their demigod or their kinsman, they insult and curse not just you and your family, but your entire ethnic group, like they did Toyin, Eniola, Seyi Law and many others.
DeleteOne unintelligent girl, on another Post, even commented that the entire Yoruba film industry is toxic.
