Doctors In Lagos State Declare 3 Day Warning Strike Over Salary Deductions

Lagos doctors have launched a three-day warning strike in protest of what they describe as “illegal and disrespectful” salary deductions by the state government.
The strike will begin From 8 a.m. Monday, July 28th to 8 a.m. Thursday, July 31st.

Unilateral salary deductions began in April 2025, but was reversed after negotiations but fresh deductions reappeared in July, without notice or explanation
Their key demands are for the immediate reversal of July’s deductions and a Full payment of 12-month revised CONMESS arrears owed to honorary consultants at LASUTH

    Na wah o, other countries are treating their doctors with respect and kindness, but it's opposite in Nigeria, what a country!
    Of all the workers salaries to deduct, it's doctors, why can't they deduct politicians salaries instead of doctors own?
