  4. Na you sabi wetin dey shock you.

Asiwaju overdeserves the award. The only man who dealt with Obasanjo and he's in the process of doing same to GEJ. A political tactician. He changed the usual pretentious style of opposition. Ride on Asiwaju.

  6. Only in Nigeria would one of the biggest looters in the country be acclaimed 'man of the year'. Such a big shame. Nigerians really need to open their eyes and not let people like this man who have the press in their pocket deceive them.

  12. They all loot. This man distributes his wealth very well. Some others don't distribute that stolen wealth. They store it in Swiss banks and when they die, it dies with them. Smart Swiss.

Yeah, the real owner of This Day is a trouble maker and BAT is negotiating with him for 2015. Nduka Obaigbena has a part to play as the Publisher. Roll on.

  13. well if u owned a newspaper, u have to market politics just as fox news is republican and cnn promotes obama…other than that its high time someone challenges pdp, i just wish it was still ACN though

  15. Lucabracee I could equally say what you said in positives about Aliko Dangote. The slight difference is that A.D doesn't give out handouts like that, he gives people jobs. In your negatives instead of stealing billions, the monopoly he has gives him an unfair advantage. But you still don't like A.D. I guess different strokes for different folks. You are full of double standards though.

  16. Lucabracee absolutely right on the comparison of positives and negatives. However, why would a credible national daily engage in institutionalising theft! Why should we continue to glorify theives!! Tinubu is too much of an armed robber, we must not forget that the stolen loot could be used to better the lot of many Lagosians and Nigerians at large.

He has simply deprived some many of benefits in life. Lets call a spade a spade and not an agricultural equipment pls!!! Infact, he reminds me of Lamidi Adedibu and how Ibadan people loved him cos he was always dishing out to the needy - whose money is it anyway?

  17. Deutsche frau, i see u have eaten up my comment about this topic is that ur 2014 style?

  18. He more than deserve the award for the reason stated on the paper. What would become of the country without viable opposition and with the way GEJ has been handling the affairs of the country?

The award did not say that Tinubu is infallible so people need to get their brains to work on the right frequency.

The reason i have a problem with Dangote is because he is even worse than any politician.look at it this way, politicians are already making the lives of Nigerians hell now Dangote with his monopoly has made owning a personal house a dream only few can even dream of…if Dangote sold cement for the normal universal price we will be spending less than 1million naira for a raft foundation on the island instead of almost 2.5m

i am only speaking based on some people i know who have gained from Tinubu in spite of his moral foibles

i totally agree with you, besides this is the same obaigbena that made his money under abacha and babangida.
i also agree with you that Tinubu has deprived many of basic benefits.i was only responding directly to the post
