Jasmine Mbonu was the 2012 Most Beautiful student in Nigeria Universe. She is also the founder of Jasmine's foundation at such a young age, she's been giving to the society.
The young beauty has gone on to launch her own magazine: JASMINE MAGAZINE
“My name is Jasmine Nkem Mbonu a native of Neni town, Anaocha LGA, Anambra State. I was brought up in Lagos State.
The inspiration of Jasmine magazine came from one of my trips to Ghana 3
years ago. I was having a conversation with my friends, where one of them engaged us about a magazine she had seen with a vendor, but she didn’t get it because of the texture of the magazine; saying it was of very low quality with a high price tag. Another introduce yet another magazine (Name’s of magazines withheld) saying they are cool but she would have preferred if their articles wouldn’t be just about fashion, but our general lifestyle. I told them I would love to publish a magazine using my own name; we laughed about it, but I knew I wasn’t joking about it.
I have a foundation with the name, Queen Jasmine’s Foundation and my Project facilitator suggested that Queen Jasmine’s Foundation would power Jasmine magazine. We worked days and night for this big project and today it is out.
Jasmine magazine is world class, joining all races and classes together
I am Nigerian, I love my country and our people, I love our cultures and traditions and I embrace them all. Each edition of Jasmine magazine would feature every bit of our general lifestyle.
*Print media is slowly phasing out the world over,I hope she does not waste her investment on this....Well done Jasmine.
Next gist pls.
