That's how some will be sick and they will refuse to go to hospital and say it's against their belief. They will say sickness is not meant for children of God. Let me ask them if sickness is not meant for children of God who will your children that are doctors will treat?
That was how one Jehovah Witness man in my street then, his son dead because he refused blood transfusion.

A neighbor that his wife died during labor has vowed that if he ever gets married again...his new wife will never birth in a mortuary, rather in his ministry! Cos according to him, the hospital killed his wife and she would've delivered safely at Church.

ReplyDeleteEven Jesus while on earth used the insides of a fish on a blind man's eye even though he could have just said receive your sight. It shows importance of medication. If God wanted to heal directly all the time He would not have created doctors and give them the brain to discover various methods and art of healing. All these too holy people should stop killing themselves. Even those ones that reject blood donation. learn from the death stories please.

ReplyDeleteMore or less what happened to my cousin some years back, in her case the baby was breached (hope that's the word). The husband is not only a pastor but also a doctor. He didn't call her parents for like a week, when he finally called, he told them she was unconscious with all the arrogance in this world.

Nigerians and religion, that was how my daughter came back from school yesterday and told me that her friend Debby said dressing up like a mermaid is evil and bad. Yesterday was world book day in U.K. and kids were expected to dress up as any book character of their choice, A girl called Chloe dressed up as a little mermaid and Debby did want to sit close to her because of what Debby ' s said about mermaid.

My bible said that heaven help those who help themselves. It's good to pray but hospital and doctors are there to help . God can save you through them.

My mom will always say "i dont know why some people like tempting God" look at a man with zero faith trying to raise the dead. Oooh my now the woman is gone. The wife of a junior colleague in my office died under this same circumstances. In this case, doctors said the wife eill be operated upon as she was really stressed, the guy answered ''Not my portion'' and took her to the church for prayers, the following day event took a sad turn and she was rushed back to the hospital where he lost both wife and child.

ReplyDeleteI was dating one born wuruwuru like that. Very dangerous guy. But for church na hin holy pass. He also didn't believe in medication. One time he fell seriously sick and was wasting away, I let him do his "faith will heal me" for like 2days, when I saw he wasn't getting better, I dissolved drugs into juice and gave him to drink, the guy slept like a baby.I couldn't even wake him to go back to his house cus he was sleeping so deeply. The next morning, I drugged another juice, he ate with so much gusto and slept off like a child. That was how he started getting better. On sunday He went to church and testified of miracle healing, and how he held on to his faith and got healed.
ReplyDeleteI know it was God who healed him,cus drugs can only do so much, but after service, I told him ,look I drugged u, better come and finish the dosage,before malaria go wear armour for ur body, he was so angry, but I told him to get lost. Pretentious Nuisance.
The truth is, God heals, He is a miracle worker, the dead have risen to life, supernatural births occur daily, but before u can invoke the hand of God in such a way, u must be holy. Even the scriptures says of Jesus is the son of God and the power of God according to the spirit of holiness, u can't be deceiving urself in private and forming holy in public and expecting the supernatural from God. God cannot be mocked.
Whatever reasons,that woman didn't call any member of her family is between her and God.may she rest in peace.

God will do.something when and how he wants to do it..holiness is relative as we can never achieve the perfection he desires but He does things for us anyways so it is erroneous to think God does miracles for holy people
