Chronicle Of Blog Visitor Narrative...

Hmmmmm....

STAND ALONE NARRATIVE

ADVICE NEEDED ASAP

Salute ,

Presently I and my second half need BV'S advice on how to spend our last card. I will try and make this summary brief so as not to waste your time.
For over a year now we 'hubby and wife' have not received any alert in the name of salary from any organisation, we have become master hunters when It comes to job hunting but we are yet to catch any fish.

We've been living on 2k here and 5k there from friends, oh our friend's have been awesome and God have been proving himself faithful. Anyways we are presently pregnant (πŸ™ˆπŸ™ˆcovers face, but please dont abuse us for this, if not for anything remember there's an innocent child involved whom money can't buy OR abuse us but leave our baby out of it, THANKS).

Now the main reason for sending this mail is that my EDD falls on same month our rent will become due, we can't put such a huge financial stress on any of our friend, rent is 154,000 naira plus nepa, water and other small small bills inclusive. After much deliberation we decided that its best i apply for 25% of my pension savings which will amount to about 71,000 naira or there about (My pension managers have a provision of paying 25% of total savings amount to clients who have been out of job for about 3 or 4 months).

Hubby has no savings from previous jobs as not all organization have pension provisions.

Ok, I feel this mail is already getting too long so let me rush it.
Here's where we need your advice, since EDD is less than 3months away hubby wants us to collect the money and spend it on baby things while I insist we use it to pay 6months rent in advance. His argument is that anything can still happen tomorrow and we can get fund to pay the rent or plead with our landlady to give us few months more to sort the rent while baby things can't wait because they are a necessity, my own argument is that we need to pay landlady her money as the woman does not joke with cash while baby can keep shuffling between things 10,000 naira can afford for now.

Thank God we have the option of exclusive feeding atleast till it's time to start thinking of baby food etc. (in times past landlady can knock on our door 3 times a day over 500naira nepa bill if we do not pay on time)

I dont even want to talk about other expenses so this mail doesn't come through as beggy-beggy mail.

Please guys which do you think is important we sort first, 6 months rent or baby things? Hubby and I have decided to count comments and go with the highest number of suggestion.

Thanks for taking time to read this and to advice us. I trust mama for the boys 'Stella' will post this where it is most appropriate.
Kindly forgive typos.

*Na wah!!!!....You people should have planned this out properly..Bring married gives you no right to have unprotected s3x when you are not strong financially.....

I am already thinking of how the baby will survive...baby clothes, food, school fees and all..having a baby these days in Nigeria needs serious planning and i honestly wish you all the best!!!
The baby should be number one but what if you buy baby things and the Landlady throws you out?where will the baby stay?
The Decision is left to the two of you alone...I am so upset abeg!!!

  3. Reading this chronicle, someone came to mind. Anyway never mind.

Try to use 10k from the 71k to buy essential things for the baby. Few clothes and baby toiletries and use the rest to pay a few months of your rent while your husband strives hard to get a job no matter how small.

May 2018 smile on your finances.

  4. Lets just pray you have no complications during birth like CS, that'd probably attract more bills & longer bed space, dont let village ppl know the date, keep em guessing.

  5. Every child comes with his or her own blessings, I believe this child will come and bless his/her parent so the issue of school fee shouldn't come up here because when they get there they will cross the bridge.

I will suggest you pay part of ur rent first, then ask family members or close friend for help with used but not too bad baby things and then save what ever money is left after paying rent for emergency.
And keep praying and trust in God for a breakthrough before the arrival of ur baby.
I wish you good luck and safe delivery

    1. Please shut up!!! As in just shut up! Nigerians and this terrible mentality of every child is a blessing. No children are not blessings, they did not fall from heaven, they are a result of unprotected sex! The babies that are abandoned on the streets, in orphanages and so on, they forgot to pick their bag of blessings from God before coming down abi? Rubbish! Madam as poor and broke as you people are, it didn't occur to both of you to plan? It is safe to say Nigerians have no clue about Quality of Life as a subject matter. For this reason, the rich remain rich and poor remain so through generations and the cycle just keeps going. Marriage makes you people's brains fly out the window and you people think you can do whatever you like in marriage and there would be no consequences. Well I have no advise because I and my partner have decided to wait for financial stability before we have children and we are not infertile or stupid because we too want kids but we put our brain to work first above sentiments. I hope to God your child comes with blessings in form of paid rent and baby food and clothes etc. Carry your cross!

    2. Anon 16.12 you shut up!

      Delete
    3. @Anon 16:12 shut up. Children are indeed blessings from God and even those abandoned children are also blessings from God. You think you can play God or you dont know family planning fails or babies may decide not to come when you are ready. Ask the rich, who are ttcing. Poster pay your rent. God will make a way. I get promotions at my place of work evey year i put to birth, plus other blessings.

  6. You don't have a problem joor. I was thinking you wanted to say ur husband is not feel too well. My dear he has hands and legs and he is in good health so he should go and do some labour jobs. He can make 3k a day. Rather than count comments calculate 3k times 20days. Health is wealth, some time I wonder why people that are not sick cry cashless or do you think ur better than those women that carry load at balogun market or those men that off load goods at the market?See what job hunting on bed has cost you guys.

    1. I'm seriously restraining myself from calling you a fool! Just read your comment word for word and ask yourself does this make sense. So payment of bride price is license to bring children in to the world to suffer right? Gosh! To think some of you with this kind of mentality go on to reproduce and have children. No wonder eugenics was a thing at all.

  24. I hate to say this but you and your husband dont have a problem of cash what you have is the problem of pride and not using your senses to recognize the resources that can be turned to wealth.

You have 70k, tell your husband to stop job hunting for white collar jobs and put his pride aside to do the regular day job.

He can use 10k to buy fruits and sell them to people at a good bustop or even chop them package them and sell to offices and shops around for a specified price.

He can take 10k go to ogun state and buy Garri in bags to resell on a wheel barrow at a good bustop.

He can go online with the data you used to send this chronicle to browse how to make liquid soap, local insecticides and liquid air freshners.
The chemicals are sold in bulk in markets and even the packaging plastics are cheap.

He can buy them and sell for the next 3 months before your EDD.

Tell him to get off his job hunting ass and multiply the 70k before your EDD.

He can drive someone's Uber to make money

I have given you some idea so pick one or use your brain to think of how to take care of yourself.

Men think of how to multiply their resources and not how to count comments on spending the 70k in a way that would not bring in more money.

Your wife wants to apply for pension, you want to use the money to buy baby things! When you know the kind of landlady you have. And rent money would fall from sky, you are coming here to count comments! You husbands foolishness is rubbing off on you. Common sense should tell u rent first, baby things people can dash you. Poster I feel for you o, condom is 50naira!!! Your husband is lazy and not sensible am sorry. He should go out there and do menial jobs to provide for the house, it's his responsibility and stop begging for 2K and 5K. Lazy men have no business having unprotected sex.

"Thanks for taking time to read this and to advice us. I trust mama for the boys 'Stella' will post this where it is most appropriate."

That was the last full paragraph of the poster message, so it means Stella posted this as a chronicle at her own discretion.

Think carefully before typing. In Nigeria, we've seen wealthy men/women become very poor. We've also seen very good planners facing reality of life and circumstance.
My question for you is this; have you accomplished all that you've planned for? If yes, then congratulation Mr/Mrs god.

Don't just type whatever flows to your fingers, I'm very sure you did not plan properly as to typing does comment of yours, cause if you do you would know that there's different stroke for different folks.

Visit any hospital/church/mosque/herbalist (whichever you're comfortable with), and ask them how many financially capable people are looking for children.

Fix up your own life, face your existence and even if they're begging its none of your damn business. I am willing to assist them, if you aren't then shut up.

You shall receive what you sow, they sowed sperm and they'll receive a kid or more, you sowed your bitterness,........may God forgive you.

      Thanks
