    5. You people sef. No respect for elders. It is disrespectful to give the wife when the father wants it. What would the wife have done in her husband's shoes? Abandon her dad and give her husband? πŸ˜’

  11. I would ignore them both with a smile on my face. But if am questioned by father in law, I would take my time and explain everything. After all am a guest in that village

  12. The husband was well aware of how long she's been thirsty, that attitude might just be reflex not like she's really angry he gave the water to his Dad.

I'll just ignore both of them or better still explain to father in law how thirsty I've been but the fact that the man still went in search of water again for her speaks alot. Abeg I don't know jare, I think I'll just go home and sleep

  13. I understand him giving his dad the water and I also understand her feeling slightly neglected by her better half, but a mature man would go meet her in the car, joke about elderly people taking any little thing as disrespect...
But to walk off and open his mouth in front of his dad and whichever relative was around is plain stupid and veey childish.

    ReplyDelete
  14. I find this disturbing that it is a real life scenario. Really, you give your husband attitude simply because he handed over a bottle of water to his Dad instead of you. You mean if he had given you the water his dad stretched his hand to collect you would have collected and drank it? Marriages of nowadays ehn......

A NORMAL person would have asked the man to tell his dad to please remain a little for her if she can't ask herself. She could have also endured knowing this doesn't happen every day. She could as well go get the ice cream and go back. But attitude over water ??? Devil is really a liar

  15. I’ll give it to my wife.Even my father will ask me to give it to her.

  17. #Start a new pattern of thoughts and you will attract new experiences. Life is a reflection of what we allow ourselves to see and be.

Time spent in self-reflection is never wasted. The more reflective you are, the more effective you are at noticing and breaking recycled cycles*

  19. The lady is obviously not close to her inlaws. If I was the one, I would tell papa-inlaw to leave some for me (with my puppyface) and I'm sure He will.
I know if the case was reversed, I would do the same thing her hubby did so why get angry?

  25. The man was right giving d water to his dad.
He honored him. If he did otherwise to please d wife, his parents and family might forgive him, but will blame you for it and even want to hate you.
So, why not save yourself from unnecessary problems.
The last time I checked, a thirst for a day, can't kill... So, she should have patiently waited for d water to be brought or take permission from her in-laws on d table, to go look for water to drink.
Leaving them to go sit in d car w ice cream shows she is offended DAT d water wasn't given to her, and rather d father.
She has no reason to be angry, considering also DAT d husband still went to look for another water for her.
If she had sat back, there wouldn't have been a need to report her to her father Inlaw.

But d husband was wrong to have sold her to his parents. Husbands are met to protect their wives, especially from d claws of their extended families.
But, knowing d kind of man, she married she should have avoided it.
On wat next to do, when she meets her father Inlaw again or wen an opportunity presents itself, she should clear her name.

  26. Stella yoyo how body?? Me I want to rant. It's about the latest happenings in Suleja,Niger state. 31st of dec 2017,one of my sisters was robbed. She got into one chance.. the guys claimed to be driver then two passengers. Her new phone, handbags, perfume and many other things were forcefully taken from her. It was terrible. On her way from the new years shopping. She was threatened with daggar to her eyes so she couldn't even fight as they kept contemplating rape too.. Thank God she wasn't. She was smart enough to detach the plate number of the car. Now my worry is she's refused to report the case to the police.
Again just this evening, at about 8pm another of my sister got robbed almost the same way but this time she was walking and it was just one guy that carried out the action. He approached her with a daggar to her eyes and asked her to hand over her phone to him. Imagine two phones in less than a week. And it's not like they have good jobs. It's like this is the trend in Abuja and Suleja. So please I imploy you my fellow bvs in that location please be careful and try not to walk alone when it's dark. I'm so pissed ehn cos now they'd become unreachable for God knows how long

  27. I'm grateful they weren't killed o..thank God they only took material things and they can be replaced. It could take long but when there's life there's hope #same poster

  28. Why will she give her hubby attitude? That is his FATHER! If it was reversed, won't she give her own mother or father first before her hubby? Afterall he went to search for another bottle of Water. Abeg some wives should just calm down. Learn to pick your battles jor!

BTW,is it desert the wedding was hosted that no store to buy bottled water or cold drinks from? Was the wedding not in Nigeria? I ask because I trust my 9ja people that knows business, there will be traders nearby selling cold drinks and snacks.

  30. Honestly a whole lot of you that comment on this blog are just stupid and don’t read to comprehend before commenting? Someone types a comment and u lot just follow like sheeps.....so how on Gods green earth was she angry cos her father in law was given the water? The husband is childish and stupid....your wife has been thirsty for long and she asked for water first, the guy is the one to have told his dad to give her some of the water too as she was very thirsty....he went to look for water and stayed 15 minutes only to go meet her in the car without an apology.....that is so wrong. The typical naija mentality is to always tolerate what ever a man dishes out and the woman must be at the mercy of in laws....naija men should start learning to respect their spouses by considering their feelings too...your respect for elders and parents should not make you ignore the fact that your wife also has feelings....it’s not only women that should be polite and learn to say sorry...trust men to always lay the blame for their actions at the feet of their wives, he was totally childish to tell his father she was angry was he gave him water when it was his attitude she was pissed at... childish and silly I must say

    1. on point. knowing hw thirsty his wife has been for so long, first thing should have been to apologize and pet her. Not walk away angrily and open his mouth. She had the right to be upset..being thirsty for so long is no joke.
i ll just ignore him for the rest of the day...he should keep reporting me. Oshisco!
