The state Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Mr Tony Nnachetta, stated this at a press conference in his office in Awka, Anambra State. He said that was the decision reached at the State Executive Council meeting.
Nnachetta added that a study by relevant authorities showed that the quality of teaching and learning in the state needed to be boosted which necessitated the recall of some of the retired teachers to help out.

ReplyDeleteAnambra state is currently recruiting for new teachers, maybe the retired ones are to guild the new ones in teaching
ReplyDeleteThey should employ young teachers and train them periodically. Why bring back retired teachers? I remember having a very old lecturer ( as old as time😀) then on contract, anytime he comes to class, he'll use half of his lecture time reminiscing and telling ys about Faraday, Copenhagen, drinking tea with fellow scientists like we care 😀😀😀
