The Headies popularly regarded as the most prestigious music award in Nigeria has been rewarding entertainers since 2006.
There have been several hosts since the inception of the award including Dare Art Alade (2006), D’Banj and Tana (2007), Basketmouth and Dakore (2008), BankyW and Kemi Adetiba (2009), the voiceover called “The Voice of God” which was used in place of a human host (2010), Rita Dominic and eLDee (2011), Omawumi and M.I. (2012), Tiwa and Dr. Sid (2013), Toke Makinwa and Basketmouth (2014), Kaffy & Bovi (2015), and Falz and Adesua Etomi (2016).
This year, award show even promises to be more fun as comedian Bovi and singer Seyi Shay will be bringing on their A game to delight the guests and give them the best award show ever.
The Theme for the 12th Headies is ''Create A Rare Experience'' and it holds on May 5th, 2018 at the Eko Hotel Convention Centre.

ReplyDeleteBovi practically rescued the headies in 2016 after that DonJazzy/Olamide brouhaha. His brief cameo last year too saved an otherwise dull night. That's probably why the organizers keep going back to him, he is their lifeline
