Akwa Ibom state Governor, Emmanuel Udom, has expunged and re-named the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium.
The Multi-Billion Naira stadium built by former Governor Akpabio will now be known as Akwa Ibom International Stadium.

DeleteAkpabio did not name the stadium after himself. He called it Akwa Ibom International Stadium (aka Nest of Champions) at inception. It was Udom that named the stadium after Akpabio apparently in appreciation of having rode on Akpabio's back to become governor. Now they are quarreling and Udom has decided to change the name yet again. That's petty.
