  1. Such a beautiful lovely morning this Saturday as I woke up so happy with a smiling face not because I got no worries but on the assurance that I know whom I have committed my worries to. So on that note, I have chosen not to be distracted anymore. I have gotten to that point in life nothing move or shake me  anymore. I don't get surprise anymore of happenstance.

The fact I don't fight back doesn't mean I am weak, it means I am matured enough to know that anger won't solve anything. Peace of mind over everything is all that matters.

    5. Teejay read this.....Anyone who knows Kyrzayda Rodriguez..The famous fashion blogger who died few days ago after announcing her Stage 4 stomach Cancer..These are her words on her last days on earth:...May Her Soul Rest In Peace😢😢😢👇👇👇👇👇

“I have a brand new car 🚗 parked outside that can’t do anything for me, I have all kinds of designers clothes, shoes and bags that can’t do anything for me, I have money in my account that can’t do anything for me, I have a big well furnished house that can’t do anything for me. Look, I’m lying here in a twin size hospital bed; I can take a plane any day of the week if I like but that can’t do anything for me ... So do not let anyone make u feel bad for the things you don’t have - but the things u have, be happy with those; if you have a roof over your head who cares what kind of furnitures is in it... the most important thing in life is LOVE.

Lastly, make sure you enjoy the ones you love”.

    2. Good morning Stella pls permit me to drop this here....I read through the artificial insemination post late last night and here is my view concerning it. Though the Bible didn't describe it anywhere but I can tell you that it's totally against God's principles and decision for us.

God intended that pregnancy occur within the bond of marriage between a man and a woman who are married to each other...God commissioned the human race in Genesis by the proclamation that Adam and Eve were to multiply and replenish the earth....Furthermore, according to the Bible, pregnancy is to occur between the man and a woman who are married to each other.

If the married couple is having a problem getting pregnant and artificial insemination is recommended by a doctor, then it is acceptable if only the sperm and egg of the married couple are involved...As long as both the egg and the sperm are from the same married couple, then I can see no problem with this process..After all, both the egg and the sperm belong to the married couple, and there is no intrusion of seed from outside that marriage bond. If the married couple accepts the sperm from another man (a man outside of the marriage bond with that woman), then she is inviting the intrusion of another man's seed into herself...This is an adulterous occurrence.

If a Christian couple cannot get pregnant and if the only way the wife can get pregnant is through the donation of sperm from a man outside of the marriage bond, then it is best to avoid that pregnancy...Otherwise, the couple is inviting into the woman's body the seed of another man which is adultery. If the couple desires to have children, they should adopt.

This is also applicable to a single christian lady whose clock is ticking, the best she can do is adopt a child(ren).

      Delete
    3. Nicely said boss man @Sky but again the aspect of Christianity is too deep that one need to understand that there are things God searches the heart of a man and consider it worthy provided the intentions are right.

      Delete
    4. Ezege take Abraham and Sarah as a case study, God already promised Abraham many kids but at some point it felt like those promises wont come to pass as a result of their old age...Sarah in her pure heart wanted to fulfill God's promise in her own way..a way she thought would please God too, she requested for Abraham to sleep with one of her maids so they can have kids and the result of that decision brought about the terrorism in the world today.

      Delete
    5. Abraham was not married to his slave girl, d one that gave him Mohammed abi wetin.... Remb when his wife finally conceived, she asked her to leave. Bible is deeper than mere read

      Delete
    6. In other word, your second comment suggests that Abraham was disobedient and his act is the root of terrorism in the world today. Wow! That is how much you venerate a biblical figure called father of all nations. That God’s promise to bless Abraham with many children is rooted in an act you interpret in the negative. That is how much you reflect on how the promise of God to Abraham cake to fruition. Indeed, it summarizes that the whole descendants from the birth is cursed. Whoa! What a theologian you are! Just because you don’t agree with a particular group, you jumped to a very dangerous interpretation of scripture. Maybe you need to read more about Roman Catholic Church history and what Church leaders did in the name of the church and Christianity. It would probably help you explain the meaning of terrorism.

  21. Oga's PA led us to him. It was at the back of the building where we'd sat. There, we saw another mansion, more exotic than the one in front. My uncle was seated with three prominent politicians, a huge conference-like table before them filled decorated with assorted wines and a big glass bowl of peppered meat. We saw Okaka sipping wine from a from a glass cup, he wasn't seated with Oga and his friends, he sat across from them. One would not need be told that class mattered to these men, judging by the whole setting.

My uncle's face lighted up when he saw us.
    "Are you Ezeugo's daughter?"
"Yes Sir, I am. And this is my younger brother, Emy"
"Come, my children. You are so tall like your father"
Daddy dearest wasn't so tall anymore.
We went close to him. He waved at the chairs, indicating we should dine with them. We greeted his friends, they replied cheerfully and we sat. Na me be this? I was seated across a former good looking lawmaker. Chei, where is my camera?

    He introduced us.
"These are my cousins, I was very close to their father when we were kids. We did a lot of things together and he was very kind to me. We were so close but he became so religious, we drifted apart. But he's a very good man, I have fond memories of him".
His friends looked at us with great respect and admiration.

One thing I've learned about big men is this: their friends treat you exactly how they see them treat you.

"Your father called me a few minutes ago. He said you have been here since morning. Why didn't you come straight to me? Why didn't you tell my PA who you were?
    "I told him Sir".
He barked the PA's name, he appeared immediately.
"Ekene this young girl said she told you they were here to see me and you didn't come to tell me? Do you know who they are? These are umunnem (my siblings). They are the most important of all the guests you've been bringing here today. If I knew they were here, I'd have seen them before anyone else".
Mr. PA began to stammer, he was sweating profusely. I was stunned.
"Go to the kitchen and tell them to prepare a meal, they came a long way and have not eaten since morning"
    Ekene scurried away.

  32. "Do you drink wine?", he asked.
    "No Sir", we answered.
"So you're as religious as your father, eh? That's good"
If only he knew. I was nothing close to religious, I just don't drink anything that contains alcohol. Emy, on the other hand, drinks like fish. The night before, he drank three bottles of beer. He declined out of courtesy.
He called Ekene and told him to serve us soft drinks.

He inquired about our father and his health, he expressed concerns over my father's speech problems and asked why my father has refused to retire to our hometown. We recounted my father's ordeal, our mother's struggles and efforts, our current prayer. My brother cleverly reminded him of our two older siblings who he dissapointed.
    "Where are they now?"
"They got jobs in private firms, they're managing. Now I need a job Sir, a good one. I need to assist my mum, my father needs better healthcare. Please help me".
"Did you come with your CV".
    "Yes Sir".
I produced my documents and handed them to him.
"What about you"? , he asked Emy.
"Emy is an undergraduate, he'll finish next year".

    He went through my CV.
"So you went to UNN, good school! I hope you're as brilliant as your father?
"Yes I went to UNN, Sir. Emy is as brilliant as our father. I'm as brilliant as our mother".

    They all laughed.

He promised to help me get a good job when he got back to Abuja but told me to remind him in a week's time through text message. I was ecstatic. I'll get a mouth watering job, help Mma, take Mpa to a good hospital for proper care. My dreams were finally coming true.

It was almost six. We stood up, thanked him and his friends, begged to take our leave. He asked us to sleep over, we said no. Emy had an exam the next day, I had to go back to Abuja that night. I had a little business I was running. He gave us a wad of #200 notes (20k) for transport. *side eyes at BV nigerdelta girl*

Okaka (I'd almost forgotten about him), smiled and waved at us as we left. He realized, albeit late, how important we were to his good friend afterall.

Outside we met the other guests. They looked at us in amazement. My lady friend asked how come my father's name sounds different from the dialect we spoke. She was surprised when I told her we were children of the soil we stood, we just rarely came home.

Emy escorted me to the park, I gave him 7k out of the money, (he wasn't expecting that much) . He bade me farewell.

Olatunde a.k.a Omoh, , Jungle and iya alata at Jakande estate were arrested...

    Why?

Omoh and Jungle robbed a woman at ikeja when she left the bank, and unfortunately for him, the woman was able to pick his face(omoh), fast forward to this week.

Dont forget, , Omo, Jungle and iya alata(an old woman) are members of eiye(cultist)

Jungle's parent lives and work in the United State, though he was once in the United State but was brought down to Nigeria due to his naughty attitude, fast forward to tgis year, his mum came to take him away but he refused saying he is enjoying Nigeria but the mum never knew jungle don turn to bad boy, , i called him when i heard the news, asked him why he refused going back but he decided to point a 🔫 at me , telling me nwver to interfer..good..no wahala...

This week, Olatunde(Omoh) went to toyin street ikeja, , was about robbin another person when the first victim(the woman he robbed on her way home from bank) saw him and shouted, tge noise attractedthe IRT watever, he was apprehended then confession start ..

Now, am so angry about the whole issue, , why an old woman(iya alata) would decide keeping guns for those idiot, , when she was arrested, , she confessed , , saying "won ma fun mi ni 5000 ni gbogbo igba to ba lo ibon na".. Hmmmmm...

What is 5000?...just to keep the guns and give to them when needed...this woman na that kind woman wey love Asalatu....hmmmmmm

    Awon iya osi.....

    I pity u jungle..........

  44. I took a night bus back to Abuja. Called my parents and other siblings to give them the update. Everyone was happy. Our hopes were up.

After a week, I texted my uncle to remind him like he said. I got no response. The following week I sent another text, he responded this time. He was working on it, he said.
Weeks turned to months, months turned to a year and some months. Ahughim Elija, Ahughim mmiri ozuzo ( I no see Elijah, I no see rain).
The day I summoned courage to call, he was so harsh I began to wonder if he was the same man I went to see at home.

It's been almost two years, our hopes dashed once again. But I've not lost hope. I still believe I'll give Mpa all the care he deserves, someday.

    Good morning Stella and BVs.
Special thanks these BVs: Dreamditts, Olori Orente, IPhie dearie, Skywhite, Nigerdelta girl, Queen Jay, Indiana, Teejay, obianuju, Prudent, Beloved, Prettiest Rosie, Mrs Gee and all the anonymous. I'm deeply honoured.

Third day he sent a text he's too busy I should send my CV to his mail. Like WTF, why didn't you just say that initially so I'll just save the money I wasted on transport.
I sent mail since August 2011, till today Mr Man has not even acknowledged if he received mail or not. As God will have it I got a job October same year.

They never help, they always promise you but they always default on their promises.
I pray God grant you all your heart desires and use you and your siblings to raise your family to an unimaginable life of success.

My second time to Abuja in 2004, my uncle gave me an address (a eatery at asokoro) to go wait for him and he abandoned me there. Thank God for my Igbo friends who taught me to be smart in times of difficulty, I had a quick thought and went to the other side of Abuja to look for a motel, I slept until the next morning and head back straight to the West. I never contacted him again, even when he asked my mom to pass me a message, I turned him down. (My saving grace was that I bought a return bus ticket and had some change with me)

I just wanna tell you again to COOL IT DOWN. You did exhale, yes, about time but from now make amends and repair burnt bridges. I've been there cried all the cry and God came through.
A little hi and hello won't kill you. Shocking how a close friend could concoct lies about the paternity of one's kids. Did she consider the stigma it will leave on Michael and his siblings? God have mercy!
It's alright babygirl, weep no more, God has rectified the anomaly to default, at least now the world knows the TRUTH. We knew many years back from one of your posts anyway.

Some people just want to form Karshadian family ontop nothing. Look how social media miscreants are feeding on their foolery. Tufiakwa!
Poverty is indeed a disease. You pushed twice? Then 2 hours later you crossed your legs and snapped pictures. Crossed piping hot totoh abi whay? God in heaven!
Well, welcome to the world babyboy. Nobody knows tomorrow.

For me, the way Lagos is now I'm engaging my Spirit, Soul and Body on FRIEND FASTING. Thereafter I refresh my friend's list. Babes are bad and chics ain't loyal anymore. Officially and Personally, looks like the word "happily-married" is a sin.
    #shudders

I stay happy. Ain't got time for bad blood. There's too much laughter in my system, negatives are barred always.
