  1. Is it that rapist do get away with their crimes or the system have been compromised that this demons continue perpetuating this ugly act at every given opportunity.

Yesterday I passed the night in a friend's place after a house warming party. I was awaken by the tears of a young girl I believe to be under 20years. It was pass 1am when we started hearing voices outside, for the house in which we were is close to a field and some group of guys brought this girl just closer to the window and obviously was abusing her sexually.

We couldn't open the window to know who they were for fear of an attack. All I was hearing from that little voice was, brother abeg na, I don tire, shebi na drink you take me out for come keep me this late only to f**k me with your friends. The people she was  begging weren't humans as I heard another one saying, guy finish may I do. It was at that point I used a metal to hit the frame of the window to let them know that we know what they are doing and they immediately left.

Ever since then I couldn't sleep as my mind was messed up. This is so sad. I wish and pray those guys will be caught for their crimes someday.

    1. You could not hit the frame sooner? You came online to report the case? What exactly are we supposed to do?

    4. If no one apprehends them they will never be caught. They missed being caught when those of you who heard then last night kept still. I'm not saying it is your fault but then they will also miss being caught in other occasions.
Drink that has no nutrient has out her in harms way.
I feel for the young Lady she has being scared for life. It only takes Gods grace

    5. Good morning house. What a sad story @ Teejay. Sometimes bad things happen and we are helpless... that's life. We just do the best we can and trust God for the safety of ourselves and our loved ones.
CONGRATULATIONS EKA JOY🎉 What an eventful weekend. I wish you the best. To many who are believing for better things myself included; may we experience a divine touch this week.
      Cheers!

    8. @Reasonable doubt there are things that will be happening around you that will leave you confuse as to what next to do. Sometimes for security reasons you won't want to get involve or show yourself. Even the guy whose house I stayed was even more afraid because he feel anything we do may bring those guys back to his house for attack.

    9. How did you help the victim? Did you guys took her to the doctor for test and samples?
Did you guys helped her to go give a report to the police?

We say this here all the time, the rapists will not be caught if you the witness refuse to give the appropriate help to the victim, especially a naive one.

BTW, I read your inputs yesterday inside Kemi's Nysc brouhaha and I was blown away with your comments. As the oldest person on this blog(by age), I can categorically state the fact that you are the most popular and reasonable BV so far in this year, many people might not openly admit it but I'm sure in their minds they feel the same. Forget about people coming here to hype themselves and deceiving the gullible ones, we know the true situation of things.

I'm always glad to read your inputs bro! Gracias muchas!!

    19. Anonymous you didn't read well. Sky said, referring to himself as the oldest in the blog ironically based on how people usually called him old man here, but you are quick to get it twisted. God have mercy on you. Beside, Sky is one among the oldest blog visitors here and I give him maximum respect for that.

  2. Eka Joy, congratulations and thank you for sharing your story yesterday. It touched me deeply and rekindled my hope.

I've always had long distance relationships (2 of my exes are abroad). It wasn't easy. I told myself I won't engage in distant relationship again; but they just kept coming. I had to embrace my fate. So I had a misunderstanding with my boo and honestly he's been begging me, but I've been obstinate. We had a long chat Saturday night, but I still didn't budge. I was already giving up, wanted to break up.

Got home from church and opened SP. When I saw 128 comments around 10, I knew something was up. Behold Eka Joy's engagement news. See me reading, giggling and imagining the scene. I was picturing everything in my big head. Lol

After reading, hope came alive straight up. I went to chat and told my guy "I'm sorry for xyz xyz" abeg, before oga will carry my future ring and go give another babe because of one stupid shakara that I'm doing. It's not easy to find a good man from a good family in this age and time. They say we get tired when our testimony is near. I pray for strength to finish the race.

To all those in long distant relationships, may our dreams come to fruition. Amen!

    Good morning BVs.

So yesterday a friend told me a story of something that happened , after that horrible story I wasn't myself again. Felt so sad that I was crying while listening to her.
How can someone burn 3 harmless children? Locked them inside so they won't escape.
May God help us all in this wicked world.
Please let's make peace, live happily, love one another. I don't know the kind of hatred one will have for a parent, in other to hurt them badly, you now burnt innocent three children. Chia God should stop certain bad things from taking place in this world.
Be grateful for the air you breathe because it's not yours and you don't deserve it.
Why so much hate on earth?
What a painful way to go.

  27. Yesterday I went to Shoprite to buy a few things. They were necessities I knew I could get in grocery shops around my house but I just wanted to take my baby out, ride the escalator, look around and have fun.
I picked a few things but noticed they always added #99(ninety nine naira) or #49(forty nine) to the normal price of goods. For instance, diaper of #450 or #500 was sold for #549 etc.
But I don come, I don come so I decided to just buy.

When I got to the cash point, the cashier checked my items and my bill was #2030( two thousand thirty naira). I gave her Three thousand naira in one thousand naira notes. She said she didn't have change. I searched in my bag for smaller bills but found none.
Meanwhile, there were two people standing behind me. A lady and a young man.
She gave me #950 instead of #970 and said she didn't have #20. She printed my receipt. So she'd rather break down my #1k naira note, shortchange me than leave the #30 for me by giving me back my 1k.

Omo blood rushed to my head. Me and Shoprite who go dash each other money? I'd rather return the items than leave a kobo. I told her so. She said the receipt had been printed, I said it's none of my business. Just give me my change. She gave me Belloxxi cracker, I said I didn't need it. The lady behind me said 'just take it nau or leave the money'. I turned and gave it to her. I told her she could donate her entire savings to Shoprite but should please stay out of my business. The young man smiled and gave me a thumbs up. Las las, the cashier took from her colleague and gave me. I left with my head held high.

Now I know some will say I'm a broke ass or stingy or whatever. It's OK. But let me also state that I leave change all the time for roadside hawkers. Infact I made it a point of duty to always leave small change with old women and nursing mothers. Anytime I buy something from a woman strapping a baby, I make sure to leave something. Same thing with old women. They sell their wares with a happy disposition even when we bargain ridiculously. They deserve it!
But all these big supermarkets put a price tag, and that's it with their rude attendants strutting around like peacocks. One gave me an evil look when I asked why their things were expensive. So Nah, I don't leave a dime. I even collect coins. If you don't have change, were ngwa ahia gi, nyem ego. Inukwam ira nsi.

Good morning Stella and BVs. A wonderful day and week ahead to you all.

    1. You did well abeg.....i will so do the same..so they cannot dash you 30naira but want to collect your 20 naira....nonsense

    2. My dear, you are not stingy nor broke, you did the right thing.
The cashier is supposed to ask her colleagues or the manager for change (at least, that's how its done where I live).

I have had to change fifty euro note just for thirty cents. You leaving your money to them, means you are filling an already filled drum.

They will never leave a cent to you, why leave yours to them.

    3. You did the right thing, most of tm hwill deny having change just to accumulate people's change for the daay and make it theirs,I don't leave even #10,change is change,if I want to give I know who to give👊😎😎😎😎

    7. They do that a lot. Some won't even bother to look for change, they will just offer sweet or chewing gum in exchange of change. Some will even tell you they don't have change and expect you to dash them.

    8. Good, you didn't allow few people's opinion to decide what or how to live your life.

    9. ShopRite na wa. They should change that fake slogan about lower prices. Their cashiers need more training on how to treat customers. They seem to treat customers based on what they look like and perceive. Also some female cashiers are nicer to male customers. Quality control is important. Also fresh food section should be looked into. They be ripping people off their change. Mtcheew. My dear you did well, once in a while person go para nau

    10. Thanks for the responses.
Yes they do it a lot to men and yes, they are a lot nicer to men also. H-medix cashiers will attend to you with a huge scowl on their face. But when a man appears, they're all smiles and friendly. You see their shop attendants rushing to assist men with shopping, meanwhile I go call them tire for help.

  33. Want to use this medium to thank everyone who took out time yesterday to wish me well. I love all your comments and I really appreciate them.

I kept going back to read them over and over again. They were so beautiful, so lovely, so positive and so heartwarming. Thank you guys. Sdk blog has turned us all into one big family. I'm really grateful.

One day I'd share the story of how we met (sure you all think I met a ready made man) and how against all odds we made the sometimes impossible long distance relationship work so smoothly.

Thanks again guys, you brought tears to my eyes.

May God do as he's done for me for everyone expecting something

    Him: Mummy what is this?
Me: *knowing his inquisitive self I want to dodge the question*. I don't know.
Him: Mummy I said what is this, answer me ooo
    Me: OK it's paper.
Him: *raises his eyebrow* Mummy paper?
    Me: Yes it's paper.
Him: Mummy why are you putting paper in your bum bum?
Me: *confused as hell* Go outside, go and watch cartoon.

  36. I have been expecting a miracle from God for the past few months, and lately I have been waking up with a song of victory and peace of mind; also each bible verse I read is just indicating that my prayer has been answered. Psalms 40 and Habakkuk 2 is just ringing in my heart each time I'm praying . Please my fellow BV could you explain more to me what all these signify. God bless you all.

Congratulations Emjay on your wedding. May God guide and protect your home. Guess you made a beautiful bride.

Happy Belated Birthday Olori, a lady i have never seen a curse word being used under her ID. God Almighty, bless you, your family and the works of your hands. I pray Psalm 1 with you and that which you seek the face of God will be done in multiple folds in Jesus name. God is still in the business of doing miracles. Be fruitful and multiple in all ramifications of life.
