  9. Hmmmm! Talking of jealousy I think my then friends were jealous of me back then. Firstly they made me feel very low of myself as a person who had low self-esteem. Everyone used to talk of my big bum and fat legs but this my closest friend would make me feel otherwise, then came the issue of menses. I'm a year older than they, though what made us friends was because we were related and our houses very close in the village.
I saw my menses earlier than they and they started using that to mock me that as little as I was I was already seeing my period. Me as a person my teacher taught us in primary school the ages someone starts seeing her period, by then they were 14 and I told them they shouldn't worry that by the following year they would start seeing theirs, they said it's a lie and started embarrassing me about mine in public.
Could you people believe that the following year as we were preparing for our inter-house sports right there on the my closest friend and mocker saw her period, not long the other too followed suit. Though I never used it against them or bring the topic any day.
Too many things to recount but looking back now I keep asking myself why I was following those disrespectful and bad behaved girls?
It is just some days back that a thought of them came into my mind and I believe they were just pure jealous of me. Reason? I didn't grow up with them in the village but only started secondary school later with them and people gushing about my shape as an early to mid teenager.
    Jealousy get different types.

When I was in my final, after my traditional marriage.I came back to school loaded .Food, bags, shoes, watches, clothes etc.I even came back more beautiful and all. There was one of my friends who left me to befriend another simply because she got married and the hubby appears to be rich.I used “appears” because you never can tell who is rich till you go closer.I amazed all with my overnight transformation. That her married friend collected my phone to check out my pictures.I gave her willingly because she was with the girl and I know she asked her to.The next morning my hubby called me and told me that an unknown I.d called him, telling him to leave me ,that I will leave him once we relocate to u.s and send for my boyfriend in school.I was like what.My hubby told me to be careful in school.I was like where is this coming from?which boyfriend? I didn’t know what to do?I didn’t even convince my hubby otherwise .My spirit told me she is the one.I sat at her back and was gisting with the guy next to her,I told the guy what my hubby told me.The guy was sad ,immediately the girl stood up and left while we were waiting for a lecturer from Benin who you dare not miss his lectures.she didn’t come for the lecture.she went and sat at the canteen doing nothing.thats how I concluded that she did it .One of her friends was preaching forgiveness to me but she has never opened her mouth to ask for it.Well I sincerely forgave her because I can’t give anyone space in my head abeg.I chat once in a whileeeee with her.

  15. I dated a girl who lived in my apartment complex. I broke up with her and started dating someone else about 4 months later. I didn't like to bring my new girlfriend to my place because I was afraid of what the ex would do. At first, she just left notes on my door ranging from "Fucking man Whore" to "Here's your mop, you mongrel slut-whore". Seriously, she returned my mop with the note taped to it! 🀣🀣🀣. Getting no response to her notes, she started throwing dirts from her balcony to mine. Until I moved, I hated coming home, sometimes if I saw her car there I just kept driving. If she was home she would wait on her porch overlooking the parking lot and yell "whore" ,” Ashawo” in her thickest British accent as I walked in and up to my apartment.

Moral of the story: Don’t date your neighbor!

I have been working for 9yrs b4 I was relieved early this year with no Kobo at hand nor pay off from the company,I have a shop as a side hustle which my younger sis manages for me. 2 months ago I decided to handle the shop and demacate it into 2 so that my sis will be using it as a maiemak studio, guess what my sister said,"aunty T,you that loves being a career woman the best is for you to get a new job cos if you stays in the shop, you won't be making sales oh because you don't know how to relate to customers (imagine,me that worked as a bank's marketer for 9yrs).
I also noticed that any time people comes in to buy and compliments me saying I look far younger and has baby face with flat tummy my sister moods changes but still I love her so much with all my heart, she took care of my daughter from infant till now(6yrs) and also stood by me when my ex husband showed me real pepper... Jealousy occurs every where,in the offices, among siblings, friends, peers, egery where

Your sis has always admired and loved u but hate being compared with u, now ur operating in d same shop will bring back old memories she has forgotten , find something else to do or better still pay her compliments on a regular basis... Anytime pple want to over compliment u , channel it to her, tell them she is d one taking care of u. Constantly praise , shower her with blessings and gifts if possible.
I knew cos my sis indirectly confessed how* jealous she was of me growing up. This was someone far pritter than I am o. But I deflated all that with praising her constantly until I left her house. She loves u but can't stand d comparison from Pple
